This is my favorite Sloan song of all time. Just found it the other day, hadn't been following them for years but decided to see what they were up to. This song kills it! I just listen to it over and over again. I wish this session came out on cd or record. I like this live version better than the album version too. The only thing missing that I think would have put Sloan over the top for me all these years was to have a real lead guitarist playing Mick Taylor type improvisational melodic leads instead of the typical three note alternative solos from the 90s like on this song. Wish I was in their band I would bring it.
The set lists are online somewhere for the Ontario shows: they play all of Steady and a great selection from the catalogue. Fantastic. (And if you search Tidal you may find a playlist based on the set list)

This is a great tune. One little thing that bothers me is there is a drum fill heard but not played at 2:39-2:40. Were they playing live and also to a track?
My guess is the playing is live but they did multiple takes for the video, at one point you see Patrick stand with his back to the camera, then toward, and then back again each time it cuts.
Noticed that with some of the other tracks from this session. I wonder how deep the editin it went, because the missing drum fill is accompanied by an uncut shot where Jay’s mouth and vocal are perfectly synced.
