@@SlotCar2021In Australia Carrera are about two thirds the price of Scalextric cars. Pioneer, Slot it and Policar ten to fifteen dollars cheaper. Scalextric up there at RevolSlot prices and only a bit behind NSR, Scaleauto, Avant Slot and Thunderslot.
@@johnd8892 correct John Analogue are cheaper by a margin but I was comparing them to the prices of Carrera digital to show how bad it’s getting… I should have said that😊
It all depends on where you see the value in the brand compared with other brands. In my experience, Scalextric seem to have more quality issues now. I would rather buy one more expensive car than 2 cheaper ones because the quality is much better with some of the other brands.
@@lewismumby2040They do have some issues they need to sort out because as the hobby expands they will get left behind without innovation and changes. Scalextric spend a lot on licensing compared to other brands. Only Scalextric themselves can make the changes needed to survive in the competitive market.
