It has got to that time of year where we can harvest lots of our own food. Peas, beans ,salad herbs and much much more. We are also still enjoying our cherries from this year's harvest and baking delicious treats for ourselves. Summer is going to be full of delicious food this year!

Fabulous fun filled video. Loads and loads of strimming, a long and hard job, so very well done. Well done too for being so inventive with the strimmer handle, great that it worked and saved a dollar or two. The cherry pie looked absolutely delicious and can imagine that a plum pie might be in the making soon. Pauline

The strimming never ends 😅 think a new/extra strimmer is still on the cards though. This is too much for our one machine 😅 I can’t wait for apple season as well! I will make all the pies 😂

Heya! Thank you for always leaving a comment =) We keep in touch with a few people and last year we did a film with Franky Off Grid during the olive harvest last year! Honestly the weather has been very on and off and we haven't found the right to film! Hopefully soon during the summer when the weather is too hot to work!

yum, chocolate creme on the cherry pie sounds good, or just plain cherry pie...my parents used to mix a little tapioca into the cherries to thicken up the sauce, maybe you can find tapioca there?
