If u aint dropping it you aint learning. You'll be turning that scoot around in a single parking space in no time. Anybody can ride fast, takes training to learn how to ride slow. Clutch, throttle, rear brake. Trust this ole motorcop.
Part of being a rider. Please wear gloves I fell from my bike a Vrod back in the day twice. Save your skin. After falling it hurt but it made me better and helped me keep on learning. Stay humble, remember there are 2 types of riders those who have gone down and those who have yet to go down. Practice, practice, and practice.
Saw your short. Saw the messed up comments on it. Im glad i came to the full video. None of the people in those comments know what its like to take these classes. I'm super proud of anybody out there practicing, and even more when you're not afraid to show failures. You rock ❤
It's awesome that you did this, so many riders think they're good because they're good at going straight. Stuff like this is what keeps you alive. Killin it!
Great job Tiffany. Thanks for setting a good example. We all need to check our pride at the door and practice to get better. I think you did and great job. Both you and your husband.
Seems like you released a lot of the nervous tension after the bike took a little rest break and Mr. Simmons provided a quick review of what happened and then quickly followed up with encouragement that you were on the right track. Again thanks for staying humble and showing the good, the lessons learned, and the comeback.
As a new rider, I am still learning and I need to make it a gift to myself to have a session with Mr Robert. Great job and thank you for taking is along🤘🏾🤙🏾💪🏾
Ok tip squad I’d have to say this is way more difficult on a Cruiser compared to a Busa. I grabbed my buddies Road Glide and tried to slow roll or turn from a stop. It’s extremely difficult for me 😂😂😂 hats off to Tiffany and her Husband for being fast learners.
😂 it was a complete opposite whenever I went to Motorcycle School. Those Precision turns are a lot easier on Cruisers then they were on my crotch rocket what caused the handlebars on a cruiser has a little bit more turning radius. The crotch rocket is equipped to go straight very fast more so than it is to make low speed turns
Practice makes Perfect, be the Master of your Limitations, so slowly arrived at your edge and that of your vehicle ❗ And have confidence in your self. 👍/😎🤙
Very nice video, very informative. Robert knows his stuff, and his way of teaching lets a person learn, without being shamed! Great ty for sharing. From SE Texas Bear ❤💯🙏
I am so glad that you have made the trip to learn more about the effectiveness of writing correctly and Robert Simmons. Much respect, my beloved brother because I know that you do not do this for financial gain, but you do it out of love because you don’t want anyone to get hurt, because I used to ride until I got paralyzed, but now regained a lot of use of my legs, but I’m back riding again. I have a Can-Am 250 and I have a Sea-Doo. I have not redline either of them as of yet, but my beloved sister to you and your husband enjoy the open air and the open road, and even when I’m driving in my car, I always give motorcyclist 3 to 4 car distance I’m sure that you will be coming very skill motorcyclist as well as your husband my wife will not even allow me to get her on the JetSki as far as the four wheeler she just bought that for me for my birthday and I had a little time with it because I had to tweak a few things on it such as the handlebars and the suspension and I noticed you came past Santee River down in those parts that’s why first began to ride and then you came past the south of the border brought back a lot of memories keep the faith God bless
Watching videos like this has been so helpful and motivating! I’m a new rider and have had a few tips, but ALL of them have been at slow speeds (and luckily low traffic scenarios because I am still practicing). Thanks for sharing ✨
Sometimes laying it down is best thing you can do. It helps you get over the initial fear of that. Once you see its not the end of the world, u get more comfortable practicing. Keep practicing!!
Robert Simmons never disappoints, you and your hubby did well in the sessions. One day I will come to USA just for this experience. #Priceless #PreLoader #BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle
I’m so happy you doing that training. It’s a must for any bike rider. Heavy bikes especially. Your husband will sleep better no doubt. Keep doing the course training work….👍🤔😳🙏
Y'all be rolling🏍💨!! Practice enough, you'll definitely lay the bike down😁. You both have learned from the best👌🏿. Y'all have taken the initiative to get better at slow speeds. Great job!!💯👏🏿👏🏿
Thank you for inviting us down we had a great time and it was very informative. He made sure we went down there glad the timing finally lined up. We will definitely keep practicing and hope you see you and your wife again soon
I give you props my friends cheated and took a 1971 Honda 100cc instead of taking their cruiser this video reminded me of fun times getting my motorcycle endorsement 😂
Tiff I think you did a great job, and it takes courage to put our education on front street...and I must say EJ, a couple of more sessions with Big Rob and He could teach the class...👍
Good to see you guys made it out there to Rob's place to practice. The key is to keep practicing. Always stay in that practice frame of mind. Look for opportunities to practice a skill even when on a ride. You don't always have to be in a lot with cones. For instance, if you ride out to the store to run an errand. Let's say you are going to Walmart, ride to the intersection to turn into the Walmart but don't. Ride up to the next intersection and make a U-turn. You just practiced a skill.
I learned going in a straight line to a crawl. Rear break, clutch and accelerator control. All three has to work simultaneously. After I mastered the straight line I learned how to crawl around a true U turn etc. An this was on a 1995 Interstate GoldWing.
Y’all Did that!! Hey one step better. You have way more road time than many others on here and thank you for being so transparent and open throughout it all. Congratulations throughout everything that you have completed since the beginning of it all. Your channel is setting trends, saving lives, and bringing smiles. I was happy to see a young lady who is up and coming give you a shout out and looks up to you. Her name is “Truth” from gearsoftruth from the west coast where I’m originally from. You are certainly an inspiration and influencer. Thank you both (your husband and you) for all that yall do and continue to do. I know this ain’t cheap and doesn’t pay well so it’s not about the money, y’all are real. Thank you. 🙏🏾
Thank you for watching, Im just trying to do my part and help others out. I really enjoy doing this.. Truth is my girl she is dope. Keep doing what you are doing as well
Girl it looks awesome, I haven't really watched your channel. But you're definitely onto something. Understanding that these classes are good things and help you learn where your overlooking things. As another rider I never stopped and thought about some things until someone said something about them. For instance at speed we don't really turn left to go left we lean left but we're pushing the wheel to the right a to get that lean... I sold my bike and want to get another. I might just get a toy first like a little 125/250cc that i can play on and if something breaks or gets scratched oh well lol
I think you did pretty well considering the 👀👀are all on you. Which would make me nervous as heak. Shoot i wish i could afford to take a class. When i was young my ear drums were damaged and I have no balance. So slow speed moves are a challenge for me. Thanks for sharing with us ✌️
I am so glad you and Dan took his class. I’m subscribed to you alls channel and I love watching your videos. My riding got so much better watching Robert’s channel and I keep hearing his voice in my ears every time I hop on my 221 street glide special and I am hoping I get to attend one of his sessions when he comes to the west side of the states again. Great job and keep practicing.
This is a really great video. Tiffany, I am proud to see you representing for the ladies who are afraid to hop on those twos. You are also setting the tone for us men who are also scared. WELL DONE! 👑💯💪🏽
I enjoyed the class hopefully more people will take slow speed maneuvers more serious and practice more both men and women alike. Im here to show it can be done, thanks for watching
I had to go back and replay it. Didn’t make my comment. 😂 It’s always great to see you facing new challenges and conquering them. Yes ma’am you did that, get those skills baby. So proud of you ♥️♥️♥️🥰
I saw you guys practice. I’ve been riding a long time but I didn’t know I was afraid of my bike doing the turn in stop and go so I went to the church parking lot and practice for our I can make the turn now still nervous but I still make it. You guys did good. Love you guys.😊
I really appreciate this video. I am a new rider and I will definitely practice some of these maneuvers. Right now, I'm in Michigan. The riding season is about at its end. Again, thank you for this video
You are definitely doing a good job. And yup we all forget rain gear. A low seat height on a touring frame is very different than the high ultra classic seat. On an ultra I partly sit on the gas tank. Makes slow speed and other maneuvers easier even though the seat height is higher. I use to work at a hd dealer. So I got to pdi over 300 bikes..hehe with a 7 mile test ride. I still have a few harleys but ride everything. Mostly dualsport and advbikes. I 5:09 bet you would have fun and learn alot from an offroad course. All these skills cross over. Keep living the dream. And merry Christmas to you and the family.
Remember to keep your feet on floorboards I know it’s instinctive to put your foot down but that’s how you get injured. If you hold on to the bike and pressed down on the boards even if you go over you won’t get hurt. All in all not bad for your first time ✊🏾
Do the friction zone while your going straight ...slow to get the feel of it .then try doing small turns without cones, just in an empty parking lot. Then go tighter and tighter.
Man Tip i wish i know you was here i would of came and seen you luv uour vids .. Im a male and you expire me. Mr. Robert man im training myself off if your vids and didnt even know you stay in the city and i could if veen took your training in person but 1 day we will meet 😊 Hopefully 1 day i will meet yall
