More episodes please. We have multiple Doosan machines in our shop and these make a great reference for our machinists. Your competitors (Haas, Mazak, etc.) do a greeat job of making videos available, you are missing an opportunity to build goodwill with your customers.
@@sumeetsamy circling back around to you. This video is coming very soon so keep an eye out for it. Your suggestion along with some others was heard and we are going to give you a great video to answer this suggestion.
NPH6300 in Doosan HMC we faced some time tool not changed and alarm no msz but machine stop after 4 to 6 minute tool get change how to solve this issue please suggest.
Is there a way to space large tools so they don’t hit each other in the carousel. The machine I have puts them away in the place where the next tool comes out of. If I put 2 6” tools next to each other they would bump in the carousel.
Fran, e-mail me at Mark.christopher@doosanmt.com and I will send you the instructions on how to designate a large tool on your carousel. You have to block out the spots on both sides of the carousel and designate the spot you want to use as a large tool.
Thank you for the suggestion! Setting up tool groups depends on the machine and the control as to how you set them up. If you have a specific machine that you want to know how to set this up on, feel free to email me at mark.christopher@doosanmt.com and I will try and help you out on your specific machine. I will also talk to our management about using this as a future topic in our ongoing series of videos.
@@Motorman0297 I rarely took out of tools on side mount tool changer also when operator changes the end mill or swaps inserts you are relying them to change it correctly and update the work offsett. I think operators needs to be trusted a little.
@@Game0verxD Accidents happen, the program way just avoids accidents. Everybody makes mistakes. Nothing wrong with one less little thing to worry about :)
Levent, thanks for the suggestion. You can designate Large Tools on the Doosan machines as well, however depending on if it is a vertical mill or horizontal mill and which type of tool management software it has on the machine, it can vary as to how to designate that large tool and have the machine automatically run a slow tool change. Doing it in the program allows the programmer to control the slow tool change no matter the machine or control. We wanted to give our users a sure fire way to have their machine execute a slow tool change.
Hi Mark, Great content. I agree with Sumeet Monde. Need a video about G05.1 Q1. Please explain where to put it in the program and how to use it. Would also like to see a video about oversized tools. How to safely put them away to the carusel without crushing with adjacent pots? How to force the machine to keep adjacent pots empty? I also wonder if there is a way to restart the program in the middle. I don't mean starting from N block but somewher in the middle of toolpath. Sometimes I do surface milling, and if I have to stop for whatever reason, than I have to restart from N block which is wasting tons of time. Regards, Damian
Damian, thank you for all the feedback! 1. We will definitely do a video sometime in the future to cover AICC. (G5.1Qx) 2. The video with the over sized tools would depend on if it was a Horizontal vs. Vertical. I will talk to our management and see what we can do. It definitely is something we will try and cover. 3. We are currently in the middle of doing a video to restart a program in the middle of the program just like you are talking about. So stay tuned! If you have a specific machine that you need help with some of these things and don't want to wait on the video, email me at mark.christopher@doosanmt.com and I will try and help you out. Thank you again for the feedback! -Mark
@@Motorman0297 Just circling back to this. The AICC video, program restart video and how to set a large tool in a vertical milling machine is coming in the next 6-7 months. I really appreciate the feedback and your suggestion was heard and we are going to cover all of these topics. Keep an eye out on the channel for those videos to start dropping in May. More than likely the Tool Life Management video will drop first and then the AICC video. Thank you again for being a Doosan customer and the suggestions!
Damian, keep an eye out in August for the AICC video. Complete with program examples and how to use it. Your feedback was important to this video. Also, the program restart video, keep an eye out for that around September. I actually cover how to do it on the legacy controls and our new iHMI control.
