Thank goodness I’ve never evolved my fully invested Slowpoke SN:I hope if (or when) they drop the “OTHER regional” Slowpoke line ? They’ll be ingredient specialists (Specifically for the tails) Edit: Or Shelder & Cloysyer

Galatian slowpoke is a different species so we won't need to "save" our current slowpokes if they did release. Although they'll likely share the same candies.

best thing I did with the first Candy Boost Feature was to get my Slowpoke, Gengar, & Golem to level 30 to unlock tails, Mushrooms, and Potatos so that my walrein and slaking can drop tails and the rest!.

For sure, rushing to lvl 30 to unlock the fancy ingredients is a great idea for "new" players. ("New" in quotes because it still takes months to get there lol.)

thanks for the guide as always!! i did evolve my ingredient-focused slowpoke into a slowking, which is kinda a bummer but glad that it's not a huge difference. hopefully it'll still bring me some tails c': i've been thinking about using vaporeon soon since i'm close to getting the free waterstone and have a decent eevee to consider

@@Bropenings Nah the issue was more finding a time to do the sleep session since traveling took like 15+ hours haha. I tried on the plane but the device said "there is some unusual disturbance going on" and gave me sleep score of 3/100 lol!

Sudowoodo has the rock berry, so it might actually even out with ampharos on taupe hollow. This is noteworthy at this point in the game, because people are currently looking for cyndaquils for the legendary dogs.

That is true. However for sudowoodoo to be truly good? You would need to give it main skill seeds. With such a costly investment on the most valuable item, I'd rather just run ingredient specialists in its place.

Well I did invest into slowking earlier days only finding out last week it was a really good skill focus one with double slowpoke tails. Going to unlock that ingredient this week. Surprise how the different ingredients got high and low point value

Slowking will also get a smaller buffer to ingredients and to begin with slowking has slightly higher tails drop because of speed. So it's not losing by much. Hopefully we'll see the value in its skill being buffed.

Curious whether Slowbro/kings buffs are general balances now that Corn's been in the game a couple of months, a precursor for a new Tail farming mon (such as Shellder during Water Type week), or even a precursor for a new strong ingredient (curry focussed ingredient during Curry event) 🤔

Damn, Sableye and Umbreon are my favorite pokemon, that are currently in the game. It hurt me that they suck :P At least I found good Eevee to evolve into Umbreon (high speed and BFS, but low skill trigger).

Wait a minute, what about Blastoise? My Blastoise is currently level 38 with the ingredients Milk, Cocoa at level 30, and more milk at level 60. It unlocks Helping Bonus at level 10, Ingredient Finder S at level 25, Inventory Up S at level 50, Ingredient Finder M at level 75, and Skill Trigger M at level 100. It is Sassy natured (Ingredient Finding + and Exp Gain -) Can Bropenings review this Blastoise and compare it to Vaporeon, Ditto, Slowking, and Slowbro in terms of Slowpoketail findings?

The Blastoise is great. It is not good for tail finding purposes, but if you use it all the time you'll still find a small amount that will build up over time.

@anthonykarem the question should start with do you want blastoise to have milk, cacao, milk? Do you plan to have alternative farmers for milk and cacao? Absol does a lot of cacao for example and no other ingredient specialist does milk right now.

Especially if it has BFS and that's always been true because of how few good farmers there are in taupe. Just be aware we are comparing max potential of each pokemon however. I would not recommend seeding sudowoodoo to L7 main skill just because it's a bit better at taupe.

It doesn't improve Raikou because Raikou skill is independent of speed. However needing to use slowbro on the team means overall more tails anyway.

@@Bropenings Healers: Feelinara and Guardevoir, Intregents: Glurak, Beerys: Meganie and Banette. I didnt try to sleep with full inventory. I try tomorow. Sunday is useless anyway.

Jokes aside, have they ever intentionally nerfed a Pokemon's stats, or just buffed other stats? (not including mechanic changes that have impacted certain pokemon more)
