The first time I heard this song version I was sitting in the middle of my College Campus with a girl I was seeing in those days, we get one of those adapters so each one can listen with their respective earphones, I remember that the first melody started and I stare into her eyes,, we were surrounded by people but suddenly everything stop and there was only us, suspended in time and space. A truly special moment in my life. A holy moment. If you reading this I love you.

sometimes i feel sorry when i see a band like slowdive not famous, but then i feel proud that those few people from around the world which they love slowdive are actually the only people in the world which they do live, feel and enjoy the real meaning of the music.

Wow it has been like 7 or more years since I heard this song for the first time and I don't think I ever heard again, not this nor any other from them, and I had completely forgot about it, until today. I'm thinking of doing that more, maybe never listen to Slowdive after this day and wait a decade to listen to it, it's definetly a high to it. It feels different from anything else.

When I was a younger man, I encountered a woman who was an emotional vampire. She thrived off innocence that she lost. I used to be disappointed that this wasn't like the demo version, but I've come to really appreciate and almost start preferring this approach instead, can't quite put my finger on it but it's powerful in its own way.
