Now everyone talking about Frank endurance!!! I thought Frank was the best athlete tank has ever seen just last week! He had great legs? What’s the problem now?? lol excuses. Tank is just different
Exactly! That's what shows you this was a dive. Frank was doing whatever he wanted and just decided on his own to lay against the ropes and let tank hit him
@@Johngotti3456 Lmao Frank was controlling the center of the ring all he wanted and was keeping tank back with combinations. He abandoned that for no good reason but hey whatever narrative that gets fed to you is what you tank fanboys live for... Now Tank is gonna fight another bum that's willing to take a dive
I won money on Tank but I'm keeping it real.. Martin was winning on the cards.. he slowed down in the 6th Rd and u could see Tank was getting closer to catching him flush.. them body shots was key for Tank.. his ring IQ is better then what ppl give him credit for
Lol Frank absolutely was not winning. Stop assuming every time Frank made a flurry of punches that all of them got through. Most of what he was hitting was all glove. How you do watch that fight and think Frank is winning, what are you looking at
Dude frank won the first 5 rounds and got tired from fighting off the backfoot. Tank took him to deep waters and drowned him in the 8th. Frank didn't have the stamina nor power for tank to respect, but frank will learn from this fight.
Tank forced Frank to slow down. Frank said he was using his legs more than he wanted to so he wanted to slow it down to make sure he had them in the later rounds.
If you’re not fast enough to maneuver and avoid tank’s shots, the only thing you could possibly do is to be able to hit hard enough to slow him from coming at you
Im tryna figure what acosta was looking at. After rd 4 i said any rd now. And even early rds look like frank won in 3rd they both landed 10 punches. But frank was throwing get off me punches he was never throwing offensive punches.
Frank was doing exactly what Tank was allowing him to do to gain confidence in the early rounds onward. These dudes just don’t understand, Tank be playing chess from the opening round of the fight. Tank is a tactician that just happens to have dynamite in both hands. Tank is a generational talent, accept it…respect it!!!
Frank was Not winning bro.. i had Frank winning the first 3 rounds and then Tank won round 4 clearly and then took it from there. Whats crazy is all 3 judges had it scored the same way i had it during the fight.
It was the body shots tank was landing the first four rounds. People were more focused on how frank was up 4 rounds because frank was taking those body shots with out showing he was hurt. Boxing analyst are fanned out at this point. It was he's the most athletic boxer tank ever faced and he never face a boxer like him. Now it's his endurance...lmao
🫡Thank you!!! He invested in the body early. Strong, subtle shots to the body. If people pay attention they would notice those body shots from the onset. That pain lingers on, round after round.
@@HNiCDukehe won those 3 rounds on the back foot. Then dude he lost 4 straight rounds an got slept. He showed everything he had in the three rounds because of pressure he had nothing left.
@alkebulankingel4452 kid frank won the first 5 rounds and still was winning on scorecards before he got ko'd. His stamina and fear of tank power is what defeated him
@@StaceyG-sz8tw That wasn’t it It was the UNRELENTING PRESSURE that broke him down Pressure is a big WEAPON in boxing 🥊 that a lot of people underrates
Very few fighters could keep up the pace Martin was going for the first 3 rounds before tiring. He had to keep Tank from landing. He was not wise enough to out manuever Tank with defense. He was doomed sitting on the ropes
Tank Davis has the body type to deliver the K O punch, plus - he's slick, quick, and acrobatic. Frank can box until he has to run; He's too top heavy, lookin' like a light bulb, with his leg development not in proportion with his arms. Body shots will have a fighter tryin' to sit on the ropes, even more so if their legs are under developed. Tank Davis, has shown he can defend as well as attack, he will take in order to give. I think Leo Santa Cruz gave Tank Davis better action than Frank Martin....js
This dude!!! Body shots slow EVERYONE down. Frank was in great shape. Tank just knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He invested in the body early and stopped the man late. It's science not exercising. 😂
Frank was winning to me. I gave him the 1st five Rds. After Rd. 5 Tanks coach told him we need ALL the rest of the rounds, that says it all. 🤦🏾♂️ Boxing has proven that cash cows, champs, more popular fighters get favorable judging. Just like superstars get the calls in NBA, cash cows will get biased judging w/ a less popular fighter. I don’t look at the scorecards as literal. I factor in popularity gap too. Frank actually gains experience & can get better from this fight. Very good fight for both guys.
i’m a be honest with you take Davis is a spectacular fighter, but when I look at him, I look at Mike Tyson. I don’t look at nothing amazing his pressure is what allowed him to win. A lot of these fights the minute he gets in there with a guy that could take his pressure it can also give it back. I think that’s the end of his way because if you look at him, he’s just a fighter he’s not a very good boxer. He’s not really athletic like that. He’s just a pressure fighter. I think his pressure in his presence allows him to win. A lot of these fights the way he’s doing it, but I think when he gets in there with a guy that has a solid answer for everything that he gives he’s fucked, that’s just my opinion due to lack of experience. I don’t think there was a talent gap. I think there was an experience gap there.
I don’t know what fight you guys was watching frank won 2 maybe 3 rounds in the beginning but round 4 threw 8 frank stop punching and was running and on defense and tank walk him down with his hands down and knocked frank Martin out with a upper cut then finished him with left straight
That’s exactly what tank said too earlier on he felt his power and as the fight went on he notice them punches lost steam and that’s when he started to walk him down
I disagree with Tank not respecting his power. His problem was he got too far out of range allowing Tank to rest and regain composure. Purposely putting himself on the ropes was a dumb gameplay and sometimes Frank sprinted from one side of the ring to the opposite side instead of a simple step around and step back. He did the opposite of smothering himself. He gave Tank tons of extra time and space to work.
fight to inexperience that’s the only reason why he didn’t win this fight if Frank was experienced I think he would’ve beat tank Davis because he had the correct formula he had it. He just didn’t have the experience on how to last four more extra round without getting knocked out. I’m gonna be honest with you. I truly believe in my heart Davis lost his fight. Had he never got out he needed that knockout
