This is a written and recorded medical encounter script about Mr. Rosales, who made some changes to his diet due to his recent diabetes diagnosis. This is the version that is slowed down (with longer pauses) AND shorter lines, for those who might find the longer utterances difficult or the original speed challenging.

Thank you so much! I’m soon gonna start as a video medical interpreter and having trouble practicing with realistic scenarios. Thank you !!

You're so welcome! I'm so glad to hear your feedback because the whole reason I created this channel was because many of the practice materials I was finding weren't realistic at all. Best of luck to you!

This was very useful and helpful, my target language is Swahili but I still interpreted the English part. This is for preparation before my oral exam. Thank you so much

I'm glad you found it useful! I try to do most of my videos from English into English because there are *so* many languages out there in the world and even if we speak a different non-English language, many of us speak English. Another way you can spice up your practice is to interpret the provider into Swahili, then repeat the patient in English! This works with your raw memory skills.

There’s not an exact translation. But the idea is that something was figured out. So maybe it can be interpreted as “lo hemos averiguado”.

@@cesarleon2562 That’s a Completely different meaning. Be careful. To get to the bottom of something means to find out or figure out something. Averiguar.
