this has been another dose of my never ending craving for middle eastern vibe indie music ever since i heard desert sand feels warm at night and eyes of ibad from pachinko
I wouldn't consider this fully Middle Eastern. If you listen closely, you can hear a lot of Indian instruments/tracks mixed in. Persian music and instrumentals would go amazingly well with the indie genre, but I've yet to see anyone do that yet.
"Pleasure overdose" indeed... This album is absolutely sublime, the first time I listened I was transfixed. This music actually makes me nostalgic for the similar stuff I listened to as a kid. I remember my parent bringing home a lot of Deep Forest and Enigma CDs, I would listen to them for hours. This album captures the same kind of enigmatic beauty that stole my heart way back when. I'm so glad that this album exists, I shall revisit it many times. My favourite tracks are 4 and 5, the singing in 5 is unearthly. Also, the desert is my favourite setting! So this album checks pretty much every mark for me!
thanks for the comparisons you two, I had listened to a little Deep Forest before but never Enigma... and I had a couple Delerium albums as a teenager after copying everything in my sister's CD binder, hadn't thought about that stuff in a dog's age!!
a true masterpiece. played almost daily, from beginning to end. It sparks my memories of my own travels and adventure while setting a vibe to look forward towards future journeys.
Rarely do you randomly come across such good music, all in one album. I don't generally listen to vaporwave, but.. every genre can be good. As long as it's got soul in it ❣
I'm pretty sure it's no longer vaporwave and is closer to downtempo-ambient, general electronic now. I wouldn't have known this artist made vaporwave at all from this album.
@@sowhat... I mean the artist tends to do vaporwave but seems like he has transcended vaporwave styling here. Wouldn't know it was even remotely vaporwave if it wasn't labeled as such. Again, sounds a lot more like general downtempo ambient electronic music. Which is good, that's my go-to genre!
atmospheric post-studio chillout plunderphonics a la Haircuts for Men... glad to see this genre is still out there making waves and pissing off copyright holders... 😁keep up the good work slowerpace!!
Honestly, what a fantastic work, very atmospheric and comforting music, with a very unique style and very well produced, in addition to this incredible album art, I loved your work, I have already subscribed and saved several albums, success to you!
Imagine you're in a desert far from home starving from dehydration and heat. Then all of a sudden you see in the far horizon what appears to be an oasis. As you approach the oasis you hear this music playing. The closer you get the louder it gets eventually you get there drink plenty eat well and just relax. Those are the vibes I got :)) Desert disco baby
Idk what this is or why RU-vid popped it up on my feed but it's some of the best music of whatever this genre is I've ever heard. Reminds me a lot of Professor Kliq but encompasses like 10 dif genres minimum all in one album and way beyond that, great work friend.
When the Muslims ruled Andalusia and settled for more than 400 years, everyone coexisted, and in peace, Muslims, Christians and Jews, development was rapid in various sciences, including music, there was a lot of interest, and many musicians such as Ziryab and Al-Musli appeared, and they began to establish music schools and invent musical instruments.
Hello man Your work is good, but I want to warn you that in the first minute of the video there is a sound in the background of Arabic words repeating “Allahu Akbar” and this is the sound of the call to prayer in Islam, and mixing it with music is considered a great insult in Islam, so please remove it and avoid mixing random sounds just because it sounds good for the track. Thank you.
such a great album cover, I really like how it feels "valuable" to look at it. The mix between electronic, voices and instruments also fit very nicely, modern without having any kind of fillers
Nah but they do similar things. Which is find songs and edit them a bit. They all pretty much release mixtapes. But still, good way to find these songs and good asthetics.
its a cool album but one thing that westerners seem to keep getting wrong is the differentiating between middle easterns and south asians. in song 4 (fetishisms) middle easterns do not use that instruments, that is a south asian instrument!
