I'm glad everyone is waiting while we pimp our yard. Also, why is there so much yard? Even Crazy Dave wouldn't have this much yard, and doesn't. At least, in the comics they are using for part of this, he definitely did not have so much yard.
Unless there are limits of the dynamic difficulty system (maximum and minimum difficulty of a stage before the system stops changing difficulty), Flag might just play that level repeatedly until they beat it, but we'll just have to wait and see (Poor Flag 😢).
With enough willpower, self loathing and artificially lowering the difficulty by losing lives, I can 100% confirm that 116 is possible without power ups. But you’re not really achieving anything wasting that much time over it tbh…
this game somehow combines the absolute hardest and most unfair levels of pvz 2 and the most boring and dull levels in pvz1 together to make this absolutely agonizingly terrible experience, bravo popcap.
Yoo flag did not realize you saw my suggestion and brought it up at 56:29. I do hope a dev sees this because I am not a dev (unfortunately). And your art looks good for the whole Schtick the sponge zombie starting to sell. Still great content and hope you’re doing well after this abomination that in my eyes can be fixed to be better.
@@Taceria It is visually appealing i will give it that, but playing? It isn’t there…. Not yet. Do hope the devs (maybe you from the sounds of it idk) try to put forth more effort for better level balancing. Hope it’s in the works right now though. Also was referring to the title of “losing my mind playing PvZ 3” and also just referring to the gameplay. Again visually it is good to look at.
Flag it is I DR. EDGAR GEORGE ZOMBOSS (but pixelated and referencing pfp) and I have come here to tell you that you are a warrior of great valor and a well respected being on both the plants and (even more so) on the zombies! If it is a choice between makeup momkeys or a video by one of my minions choice? I give the army of zombie some slack and spend my time watching your videos. I do hope your recovery from the ER goes well after all this.
@@Place_Your_Order_Here oh my god thank you so much. Need a brake from mindlessly sending zombie hordes to the poor people playing this game. Also rotten flesh and phones don’t mix well. Still thanks for pointing it out to me.
But Saudi who vegetables and rotten corpses not match well ( if they are thrown of course) who knows if a zombie finds a vegetable laying on the ground amite eat it and I don't know get Poison Ivy die? @@PixelZombossthen I remembered,, your army is already writing corpse so they don't need to die again. They just need to become popcorn. ".
@@lolucorn1 hmm Gargs want to feel love to an extent to and so at this point a lot of more…. Approachable girl friends have been taken I assume or are hard to find for the era the zombie is in. That’s the only reasonable answer to your question I could find. Odd as it is if there I guess that’s just the luck of the times I guess.
39:40 wouldn't it be cool if bamboo shoots reload even without zombies around? The first bamboo in the 2nd lane shot instantly without reloading. 1:03:00 Kelp missed lol 1:04:56 Garg smash... HOUSE!
5:44 *"Walter, walter we need to plant walter, the zombies are going to eat our brains, walter"* Edit: Also, I can completly understand zomboss Supposedly the smartest zombie, insanely inteligent and loses in science against some random crazy guy
if i recall correctly, that is actually the backstory zomboss tells in one of the pvz comics, where his main motive was losing a science contest or something, and the winner just so happened to be dave.
Goals: “mulching” everything that stands in his way. wishes:to mulch every last plant and zombie alike (especially the children). feelings:a strong disdain for everything that Dave likes more than him.
Well then... Level 85 - I can completely agree with you, as that was hell. I'm surprised you didn't go insane these 30 minutes of torture. Plus, you even managed to survive 30 minutes without wasting a single power-up. Also, the fact the level reduces 6 ZOMBIES, plus having 9 PIGEON FEEDERS is... So saddening that you've probably died inside calculating all of it. Level 93 - I don't have comments on the dialogue either after you've beaten that level. Plus, the level was... Ok... Level 100 - The SMALLEST difference was that they added extra water on lane 2, 3 & 4. Everything was the same, so... LAAAAAZYYYYYYY!!! Level 109 - ... I pity you... To my conclusion, I am so sorry you're suffering, man. To be honest with you, and I think everyone agrees, first half of the soft launch is a lot more interesting and fun than the other half... no joke. Hopefully you still have positive opinion about this game and some... Well... Good suggestions. However, I just wanna ask you this. ARE YOU OK, AND DO YOU NEED SOME MEDICAL ASSISTANCE?!?!? But then again, second half of this is starting to be so boring with the same 3 things that I just definitely agree with you. I do hope you recover after this, because I can't not feel guilty of someone doing this for content whilst suffering against bad level designs and... Well, other bad stuff. Please, stay safe and healthy, we all love you and let's hope PvZ 3 won't be a total failure. Enjoy your weekend.
Since your reading the comments for ideas, Surfer or Dolphin Rider Zombie could zoom down rows completely filled with water. Snorkel zombie could submerge themselves and not be affected by Rapids. Guacodile could be used to profit from Rapids that move rightward. Rotobaga could be planted above land and water without getting pushed by Rapids because it floats. Where is Fire Pea and Torchwood who do more damage but are negated by puddles. Where are newspaper zombies and All-Stars! This game could have introduced so many interesting plants, zombies, and mechanics that interact with each other in fun ways but EA just wanted more money.
Personally I had the idea of Lightning Reed benefiting more from water, and there being an Electrician Zombie that’d zap plants and be more deadly against plants on puddles
Alternatively I feel a Janitor Zombie could work where they use a mop to clean up the puddles but maybe they carry a bucket that can create puddles as well that gets filled up with contact from water but with a plant like Magnet shroom, it could be stolen and then it's splashed onto the plants to boost them as a result but that's all I got for such a concept with utilizing the puddles gimmick for a Zombie
This game's homeopathic dose of content buried under mobile game "pls buy powerup" tactics is so gruellingly depressing I have nothing but respect for how you will put yourself through the gaming equivalent of CIA interrogation techniques to document it or make a point
The 2nd half of this sadly heavily relies on dynamic difficulty. Levels are straight up not possible without either using power ups or losing a bunch of times.
Instead of a sponge zombie I think a janitor zombie would be better. He would use his mop to clean up rain puddles on the lawn with his mop. His mop would act like a shield, similar to screen-door zombie in plants vs zombies 1. When his mop is destroyed he is an ordinary conehead zombie for the durability. Cabbage-pult and lighting reed would attack around the mop and directly target the janitor.
The puddles are RNG. I "thought" this was supposed to be a "puzzle" game! How can you work puddles into your "puzzle" when they aren't consistent? PVZ3 is having an identity crisis and you can't tell me otherwise.
When 1:22:09 played, I instantly felt nostalgic cuz I played that game when I was younger and had a blast. Anyways, great video! The fact that they added dynamic difficulty in this game will keep me from playing it.
I love your videos Flag, and I truly feel sorry that you gotta put up with this kind of level design. I would also like to suggest if you ever need some different music, try looking up the Munchables OST, it's got some bangers in there. Just throwing that out there, and I hope you have a great day and that the levels get better.
24:20 Tbf in the original PVZ there it is a random amount of zombies depending on a hidden score system, giving you either a Buckethead or 4 basic zombies... Doubt this is the case here though.
You gotta appreciate how much attention Flag Zombie is paying his fanbase to give his viewers what they want. You know, the exact opposite of what this game has been doing for the past few years-
Making Cherry Bomb and Jalapeno power ups was one of the worst decisions. They were plants made for saving you when everything was going wrong, there are too many levels that could be won in an easier way with those plants, but no, you have to buy them now.
I think the vase levels didn’t need change. The fun was seeing the random plant you get. Now you easily just use the Sun and get the one you need instead of working with what you got.
I think instead of a sponge zombie. It is a janitor zombie and uses his mop to clean up the rain puddles. His mop would act like a Shield similar to screen door zombie in plants vs zombies 1. When destroyed he is an ordinary conehead zombie for durability. Cabbage pulp and lighting reed can attack around his mop and target the janitor directly.
if i had to guess, bowling zombies being disabled in water is an attempt at a small detail, since throwing a bowling ball is very hard when the ball is underwater
In total there is only around 11 plants in 150 levels. The game keeps scrolling through the same two different music themes and there's only 3 different locations for levels. What went wrong to release the game with this little content when they had way more in the beta and even the scratched 3d version of the game
24:50 Is it PvZ Brutal Mode reference? 56:14 As I know, in PvZ 2 Raincoat Zombie and puddles will appear. P.S. Also, in Level 95 I had a Garg who spawns on water line.
Pigeon did absolutely nothing in almost every level… unironically they should probably buff how fast the pigeons start eating so they aren’t just a nothing enemy
i was hoping lv90 was going to be a fun tutorial about the water surges being able to kill zombies by making the garg get Surged but it looks like they’re tied to level progress instead of any timer so they just stop happening when the final wave starts
Level 91 could had been unironically peak if we were able to choose plants and a much faster pacing. Imagine how cool would had been a proper level with that gimmick!
My brother, it is the only attacking plant sometimes, they cannot choose what to bring. They aren't skipping the selection screen, you can't choose whatsoever.
Yeah, this kinda goes without saying - everyone's thinking it - this game is just trying way too hard to be a mobile game before it's a PvZ game. PvZ2, while definitely not innocent from the BS mobile games try to pull on you, at least tried to be a PvZ game at its core. Sure, there were power-ups and overpowered premium plants and whatnot, but at least the levels were still enjoyable without any of that, even if they were difficult at times. PvZ3 doesn't have any of that. It's difficulty comes from zombie spam because it wants you to use your power-ups, and then it wants you to spend money on more power-ups when you inevitably run out of them and hit a near-impossible roadblock. Nothing else seems to matter. Admittedly I haven't played the game myself, but from what I've seen it just doesn't look very good at all. There's always the possibility that things change for the better, but considering the things they haven't changed since earlier builds (lives system, unable to choose your own plants) I have very little hope for this game.
The layering of the zombies in this game is so bad Specifically Gargs, bowling, and pigeon feeders When they come in farther up in the lane then the last zombie did, honestly it looks horrible Also I will complain again about how horribly loud snow pea and lightning are, bamboo shoots could cause issues for people too but he wasn’t that bad for me Also love the fact that so far (commenting this at level 83) there has only been 1 plant new to this game. That is so lazy. The spread out of unlocking new plants and zombies is also atrocious, obviously Edit: just noticed on a bowling zombie that bro was moving faster than his walk cycle. He was moving without any leg movement! Like someone was just dragging a png across the screen! Oh that is inexcusable
And from your perspective. Do you guys think that zombie generation is made for them to be more likely to spawn on a single lane in order to clog it and incentivices instas/powerups? I think they more or less do.
Imo one of the best parts of this game is Mo cause they casually wrote in Mo being able to kill humans, committing an Undertake Genocide route on baby plants, make it feel regret and made Mo eager to kill animals Edit: forgot about tugboat:(
I don't think they understand the point of a Sequel to a Sequel. Edit: Y'know what, I miss having lawnmowers in all five lanes. Actually, what of they gave Mo a recharge ability? Or at least some way to clear multiple lanes?
I'm so dissapointed over how this game turned out right now. Especially as someone who's been playing PvZ since I was 10 or 11. It seriously dosen't feel like they cared here.
This is why choosing your plants was important because theres no way people would beat those levels without strategy and making cherry bomb as an ability is stupid how are we supposed to deal with a hundred zombies doom shroom needs a comeback and make him an actual plant not an ability
