Just in case you don’t have a button collection I am making some little scrap fabric buttons too. Even if you have loads of buttons they are still so fun to create. I had such a relaxing time sorting through the buttons and creating these little brooches.

Thankyou Janet, for this wonderful time of learning how to make button brooches, i have lots of buttons from mother and op shops, they are irresistible. I'm definitely going to have a go. Your button Jar is becoming very popular i have seen so many posts on line saying how fantastic it is ...I hope you know that you are a true artist. We are very blessed that you give so much of yourself to the community.

Hello, Dear Janet. I love the addition of the beads! Yesterday my mom and sister and I started making stitched button jars. We all agreed there is something so calming and so satisfying about buttons, finding the, arranging them, and sewing them. Hi dear, thanks for this relaxing video, watched it last night, after a busy emotional day. It was here in the Netherlands the rememberence day of 10 years after the terrible attack on the MH17 flight were 196 Dutch people and 102 people of other nations lost there precious lives 🙏🇳🇱💔 I watched it on the tv and it was also the 2th day of the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse, that passes in our village on wensday every year. The Vierdaagse is a worldwide known walk with people from all around the world, so peachefull. We need that these times. Bye Janet 👋🫂💖

Barb’ra oh how wonderful thank you so much. I was just thinking of a Farthing the other day, was that the one with the little Wren on ? 1916, you can just imagine the young ladies peering into the haberdashery shop window, not enough money for a new dress but surely enough for a little button or ribbon for the hair to bring new life to an ensemble.
