Thanks! The little backfire on the shift at the beginning is the 2step. If your meaning the downshifts then that’s just some playing with the decel perimeters in the tune.

@@retrobear9367 the decel popping was just a result of the tuning. It wasn’t necessary “tuned in” just a bi-product. But the sharp single pop on the 1/2 shift was the 2step

Nope. I’m at 210k now but the trans is due for a rebuild. Most for just one issue not the whole trans being trash. Clutch still feels fine. But how long it’ll last really depends on the driver and current shape of the car. Aside from the couple videos on here I pretty much baby it everywhere.

@@botskakoos8792 it’s a Lingenfelter setup. Lingenfelter is a little bit more involved as far as install and what you wanna do with it but it’s more versatile than the MSD. And also the method of how it pulls timing is “more aggressive” than the msd more or less. So it’s easier and more common to see them making some flames. This was set at 4k.

When it was just intake and headers untuned it ran real rich. It drove fine but just wasn’t crisp and smooth. Just bite the bullet and get in tuned afterwards. These are too nice of cars to half ass stuff

@@exoticspeedefy7916 zero issues and I’ve had the intake for 5yrs. Driven in the piss pouring rain, snow, storms, you name it it’s get driven. Your not gonna get water in the intake from driving it whatsoever. Now if you wanna cross a 2ft deep floored road, that’s on you. But as far as regular driving with the intake goes, ide drive it anywhere and have never gave it a second thought.

@@corvettesplus4913 Apparently fitting the thing is a pain in the ass, and also build quality, but I suppose it's worth it. I want one for my 00 C5. 409rwhp with just stage 3 cam and long headers, tune. Needs a better intake than stock one

@@exoticspeedefy7916 when I worked at a dyno shop I’ve installed a few dozen of these on both c5s and 6s. Most people complain about fitment because they’re lazy and it’s not just a simple bolt on like a normal intake. Spend a little time adjusting everything and everything fits and finishes great. I’ve seen worse quality part sometimes from other higher up brands. Vararam has a pretty good video on their c5 install I believe. It’s not a pain in the ass if you go at it prepared and researched.

Not sure the exact ones, but if you google "C5 Halo Lights" You'll find the same ones.

The directions that come with it are pretty straight forward. Follow them and just take your time with the wiring and it should go okay
