im sad to hear some hate that marching band playing at the contest. i find this contest fun and nice. i believe breaking the limits of many different ideas and vibes will help make up a nice skateboard community. i think its alright for anyone to skateboard or join in the communities. GREAT JOB to the marching band!!

As a former HS band member, and a skater for most of my life, that band had the time of their LIVES at that event. Those small events where 9's also highlight THEM is going to be something those kids come back to this video and watch YEARS later. I extend my deepest gratitude to SLS for giving local stars, skaters or not, the chance to be seen all over the world. Skating is all about being inclusive to me, and nothing made me smile more than skatepark punks and band geeks killing it in the same room!

man alex's back3 kickflip lip was so sick. i'ts probably just my ape brain that enjoys spinning while flipping a lot but that was my favourite trick by far. impossible nosegrind is close tho, sick contest

Any takes on why Viennas fakie 270 fs blunt was a 9.0 while yutos nollie 270 nose was 9.3? For me its hard to say which is better, viennas execution was cleaner for sure tho.

I love how technical and critical the scores and judging are becoming, it really shows how high of a level all these professionals have reached that, something such as a wheel slipping to the other side of the rail, is enough for a hurricane grind to not be a 9

Apex was a great idea! You SLS guys should add more separat parts like this set of stairs so you can bring back the line section with a curb or kicker for example and at the and a big section like back in the days!
