That can be one reason - but i kind of belive that sm tells them to be natural on Talkshows, bc even on other shows sm are very calm and cool. - I think they get some kind of training how to behave on shows, but they do it different than f.e YG (where only two members are allowed to speak or some staff tells the interviewer what to ask...)
