The voltage out is not connected, You provide the voltage regulator, and it can be any voltage you want(as long as it is 1v lower than the supply voltage or more, of course). You could probably bridge it to use it as a passthrough as well. Btw, the current the voltage out can provide goes DOWN when you give it more voltage, since it's a linear voltage regulator. The more voltage drop, the more heat. Worth knowing.

In case mu drivers are 4ohms, then should I use any resistor to have bigger impedance?

check the chip data sheet and then look at the rating on the electro caps . they should be rated at 35 volts . i use two sla cells on any amp that the caps are rated at 35 as long as the chip can handle it . unfortunately the specs and info on ebay details are not the best incorrect .

I want to do the same thing using TWO 12.6 v AGM lead acid batteries used from my my stair lift. I'm thinking of building an extension speaker cabinet for my Fender Champ 40 guitar amp. The speaker will be 8 ohms. Trying to figure out if this amp can be configured for mono operation. I'll have to look at the data sheet for the bridged mono mode. As far as the 25-26 volt no load voltage, it will drop down to 24 volts as soon as you start putting a load on it. However the 3 volt rating on the capacitors is a bit skimpy, they should have at least 50 vdc working voltage rating.

its not way too much for this or any of the 100 watt rated class d amps as i have run all of them with dual 12 volt sla batteries for extended ( 8 to ten hours straight ) runs . yes i use a fuse , a low value for the app , and yes i check the voltages which are not 29 volts typically 26 . the boards caps are rated at 35 volts , check the data sheet for what the chip is actually rated for . doing this is just the simplest method it isnt the case that i wish to puch the amp to the edge of its spec . ideally the 20 percent rule is what SOME people mention with class d amps , running them with 20 percent less of their max rated power , with the input signal @ less than 80 percent of its max and same goes for the output if that makes sense . the only reason i am chiming in is because yes , i have run these at 26 volts , the 3116 the 3118 the 7492 and their is video on my channel of us making music in the woods using these amps going back 5 years . we have never had an issue , never cooked or blown an amp . we blew one fuse in five years . one amp boartd was cooked due to operator error but these are generally robust . keep in mind i typically go for the higher quality units and most often the sure boards and i have not tried the board on this video but what i look for is the voltage rating on the caps off the bat . great channel Adrian .

This is my plan. I am currently building a 2.1 soundbox with this exact board and another TPA3116 mono board for the sub. I'm leaving the gain knob on the other mono board for independent sub level adjustment, and removing the gain knob on this board and sticking it on the input line (feeds both) which will be master volume.

The board features a single TPA3116 chip which is already bridged (the chip could have two outputs)
