i remember pre nerf long guard being actually stronger than hitman, not only that but long guard on top of having similar speed to hitman also have alternating m1 which is a nightmare to fight against. Well long guard damage and range got nerfed now so its not as good as before but still decent-ish i guess.
I got a consept for long guard rework since long guard is kinda needed a rework. Consept 1: the style having a active skill or special ability named "piercing punch" the special ability can give the user a bit longer range (not Hitman range) and a bit avarage chip damage without having a good damage on the enemy block (the same long guard base damage to guard), with this special skill the style doesnt have to rely only on the m2 damage but can do serious chip dagame on the enemy. This special skill cooldown is the same like ippo and ghost ability cooldown and after the ability is used the ability have a similar time that you can use the ability like chronos "focus" mode. Consep 2: the style having a passive ability that you can get if you counter hit the enemy 8-9 times, the ability can stun your enemy so you can hit another m1 combo or m2, but if you land another m1 combo the enemy have a debuff that slowed and get a little more chip damage but still get low guard damage. The passive ability can only get the bonus chip damage if you m1 combo and m1 combo again ( if you m1 combo and m2 while the enemy is stunned, it Will do no chip damage after you m2 and then m1) Tell me what do you think about my consept is it too overpower or balance?
Back then i was a long guard user and now im a kimura user as a in fighter semi counter puncher long guard is good still has some decent damage fast m1 and m2 and me as a in-figther when play this style is rewarded by having more range so when enemy backdash i still have chance to catch them with my long range m1 and a m2 that have absurd range
hey bro, i have a question. what do you do when a player plays passively or they constantly use feints? ive been struggling to beat players like that and it's really frustrating
@@KeeDemirK they kinda punch and dash randomly,but since i use handslow i did like 0 damge if i cant use my m2 since they just spam backdash when ever i attack or just spam that front dash bro.Do u know how to counter that kimura spamming mfk?

ye you dont need me for that trade. you can just sell those 7 gloves and trade the cash for the gloves you want. or maybe youll take the risk and open more crates with that cash, who knows
