went in a no-easter on the south side of Cape Cod with a friend in a 17 foot Mao. 2 mile jaunt from west bay to east bay. Life guards thought they were going to have to come rescue us after we went vertical. We didn't risk the trip back that day. We never did it again
Looks to me like she kept complete control. Knew exactly what to do to get themselves back out of a sticky situation. One of the best Captains ive seen on this channel so far! Kudos girly!

I never did see the " out of control " part. This aint her first rodeo, just about anyone else would be out of control and hoping for rescue. Clearly she was born with a throttle in her hand to be sooooo good at such a young age. Kudos to her and her parents, whom I'll assume taught her. And the young gentleman riding along has got some hellacious sea legs to boot! They both give me hope for our future.
I had a 13 ft whaler. Nothing builds confidence like sitting in one. I always told my friends if something bad happens try and stay with the whaler. She may save your life.

Them girls know this inlet and not afraid to go against the ocean. Braver or crazier than most men but she definitely knows how to handle that little boat. ❤
The Blue top legend is a unsinkable Boston Whaler driven by a couple of talented women. They fly like Paper and get high off of the waves! These ladies are well known at the inlet.
Women? They’re kids, I came across their channel one day and watched about 2 mins of a video and got outta there before Chris Hansen knocked on my door lol
I might be scared but if BTL was skippering the 13’ Whaler, I would go. Those young ladies know how to handle their boat better than anybody I’ve seen on WavyBoats.
Someone sabotaged this boat and it flooded the engine; it never ran reliable after that. They now have a larger Boston Whaler (20 ft?) but somehow it doesn't look as much fun when they take it out.
Why would they give two very reckless sisters a boat when they are so negligent being out in the inlet with a small craft advisory , They are stupid and you most certainly are stupid too ! That's an accident (neglect)waiting to happen !!
They just put a couple hundred gallons of water in it. Not gonna get up on a plane now. Likely filled it up more with the trailing sea. A couple 14 y/o boys lost their lives a few years back being over confident. That Whaler will knock you unconscious if it hits you in the head.
This is when stupidity and overconfidence get you hurt. A 13' Boat.... on the ocean, arguably some of the most dangerous inlets in America .... is REALLY NOT SAFE. Yes, I know the "blue top" is a legendary boat, but this was a bad idea. Glad they are safe.
@Nicholas De Luca there's nothing legendary about gunning the throttle and tearing up your boat while slamming into waves back and forth every day. I've said it for a while now- they're going to get seriously hurt or cause injury to another pulling these dumb stunts.
When I was young my grandfather gave me sound advice when it comes to the ocean. He told me “ respect the sea because she does not respect you” it does not care if you are a “legend” or otherwise it has the ultimate say. Be safe.

As much notoriety these girls have given Boston Whaler and the pure punishment and enjoyment these 2 have put their little whaler through. Boston Whaler should step up and create a special “blue top legend “ for these 2, who I believe are sisters.

I guess you’re experiencing boating ain’t much better than hers. You never operate a boat like that in Highwinds with the canopy up and the water that rough.

One of the only females that has her flowers when it comes to being a badass on a boat. This girl knows what shes doing and is not new or green to boaring in those conditions. Shes a champion

Man the divine intervention that was riding with them that day cannot be understated. And these 2 girls always take their Little Whaler on little out & backs at Haulover all the time. I never want to see them or anybody get hurt or killed. But Haulover with a small boat is like playing Russian Roulette. Eventually you're likely to land in the loaded chamber.

They're females in bikinis driving a boat fast on a channel that I'm guessing has an almost exclusively male audience. It's the classic cliché of Desirable Female Near Desirable Thing Is Desirable To Men, nothing more. Edit: This popped up in my notifs so in the interest of being "fair & balanced", the fact that they pilot their craft with competence and obvious local knowledge of this challenging waterway is part of what makes them desirable, because watching people do something they enjoy with skill and confidence is usually pretty entertaining. :)

I had the exact same thing happened to me and my friend Huge Huge wave out of nowhere. Drove the boat right into it and gunned it ! We were looking at sky. And I heard the propeller winding out Still can't believe we didn't flip backwards ! What a trip that was. ! We talked about it for years !
With a rope wrap around and stand on the edge until it started to come over and jump back on. No not ideal but possible. Done it. Just glad someone's having fun. But don't get hurt

To be honest, never saw them lose control in the entire process. They came down, adjusted heading and backed off. They might have come back in, I don't remember now. BTL FTW.
Looks like the Yamaha either stalled or lost spark in one or more cylinders. They did not throttle up and power away. It also appears they took on some water as the stern is squatting a little. That Whaler won't sink, so that's not a concern, but I thought the wind filled the bimini top and was going to flip them over. Either way, those 2 girls have more balls than 90% of the skinny jeans wearing "males" commenting here. You go ladies! Live life to its fullest!
This is a older video originally posted by Boat Zone. They got it started and made it back in, but IIRC the engine was toast so they upgraded to a bit bigger boat. Have not seen much of them in a while!
