The Supro is already mid-focused. Throwing a TS at it is going to make it sound thin. Probably a Timmy or Bluesbreaker style pedal would work better for it.

Delta King 10 has reverb, boost, and the pigtronix overdrive. Still no effects loop, but I think it is a killer amp overall.

I own the supro 8 and I plug 🔌 it into to the back of my katana 100 with a pedal board in front of the supro for playing live. It sounds spectacular! I also go direct into my daw with the supro 8 and it works great in the studio for recording. I really like the amp.

The Supro dk8 actually can drive an external cabinet. The speaker output female jack is underneath the metal chassis. Unplug the internal speaker and you can plug in any cab, rating from 8 to 16 ohm.

I have a bugera v5 plugged into a 12" cab loaded with a celestion v type speaker, awesome sounding. I think your video shows how a relatively budget tube amp can sound compared to other more expensive amps, and it holds its own. Thank you for your video comparison. Also my bugera is quiet with little buzz.

Went into the store to pick up a Telecaster, but the amp I plugged in was the Supro Delta King. This amp sounds great at low volumes and high. Planning to try it again today :)

Killer SG. What model , I love the color scheme. I have A 2018 SG special with mini humbuckers, I love them, they do everything well. Its strange for an SG, looks like a typical natural brown SG at first glance, although it has 24 frets, ebony fretboard, and real two piece bridge not typical on most special models over the years. Its killer its my favorite guitar by far...

I really enjoyed your video. I was surprised that I liked the Blackstar the most. Because the tone was bigger and clearer. And as a working musician, the many features and manageable volume make it very easy to move between many genres quickly and easily. As far as character goes, I'll add that.

I have the Bugera. It’s quite dark sounding, but with the tone turned up it sounds really good. Incredible little amp for the price.

Fender wins clean and clean with overdrive without a doubt. Best over drive was bugera and Supro. I wanted a Supro but not sure now.

Great video, I bought the blackstar and I love it. I looked at the Fender and also didn’t choose it because there is no reverb.

Effects loops are overrated. These are nice amps. 💪

I was quite worried, as I ordered my Supro 8 and just afterwards saw this review. What shall I say, the Supro is really a great amp and sounding BIG! I have the Bugera as well. So I guess it comes down to how the amp is miked. In my world the Supro sounds much better and has not got anything in common with this video.

In my opinion comparing Supro 8" with others which have bigger loudspeakers is not objective, isn't it? As I'm a beginner I can't asses the sound character factor caused by loudspeaker. I recently bought Blackstar (used) as top version plus a new 12" matching Blackstar cab (both in limited bronco gray version). Very versatile amp as I can play it w/ 0.5W at home. The other day I took it with me to band rehearsal for the first time and played w/ 5W. Sounded surely different because of hundreds of different factors like room size, loudness etc. etc. I think Fender Bassbreaker would be as nice as Blackstar for playing with band. What do you think?

Take into account price, the Orange micro dark or Terror Stamp blow all of these away. 20W hybrid, effects loop and a ton of gain. Add a half decent 12' cab and you'll still come in less than any of these.

With the pedal the Supro sounded thin.

Does the Blackstar feel and react like a tube amp? It's loaded with features for sure but does that make it more like a digital or solid state amp? I've been very tempted by the Supro amps. But, by the two larger versions, the 10 and 12. I really like the sound of these. I'm looking for a small, relatively low powered tube amp for home use. I've been using 100 watt 112 Katanas for the last 3 or 4 years. Bought the original and then the MKII. They're decent amps and helped me learn a lot. I had the earlier version of the Marshall DSL40 but even with the power cut it was way too much for me to use at home. Or maybe I just didn't know what I was doing. lol

Blackstar sound the best for me,next is fender

any modern amp that does not have an effects loop is just stupid to me...

That Supro sounds terrible, no match for any of the other 3 amps. Even Bugera sounds better.
