Hi best thing is the smile and the pleasure of Luke when he does the work on the balcony.. Weldone - regards from Athens Greece.. So nice to be house proud guys!!!!
Very nice, I love how you didn't toss everything out just because it was all 'last year' and buy all new. BTW, you have the BEST smile--it's one of the main reasons I like your channel!
Morning Luke and Zara, balcony looks really cosy, love what you've done to such a small space, can't believe your first make over of the balcony was a year ago, where does the time go ♥️
the first balcony transformation is probably how I first heard of you! I really appreciate how you gave it a little update based on what worked and didn't work last year... Also the fact that your balcony is such a relatable size is great.
Looks lovely guys I would perhaps put a little more soil around the rosemary and mint just so the roots have plenty of room to spread . Gorgeous dress Nan such pretty material 🥰
I love the balcony refresh! I think my favorites are the expandable ivy, the planter you got from your downstairs neighbor, and the new cushions on the chairs. Nice work!
Oh wow your balcony looks amazing such a lovely space for you and Zara to chill have a glass of vino and a read when it’s warmer .I hope you had a weekend thanks again live videos Luke 😘❤️
The transformation is amazing love the wooden and greenery tied to the balcony and the plants and the new chair cushions look amazing. well done guys it looks fab xx
The before pictures remind me of how my balcony looks at the moment! Now I am inspired to start cleaning up. Here it is also cold and I wanted to wait until I was sure it won't freeze at night before planting. For a balcony with little sun I absolutely recommend fuchsias if you want something that flowers all spring and summer.
Ooh you two are going to have a great time doing house and garden when you buy. Looking great just goes to show what can be done in small space. Both take care 🤗🤗💞💞
I'm not a fake plant person but I think those trellises are wonderful its made your little space so more intimate and cosy, just a hint, plants for shade, hostas, ivies, primroses pansies, violas, and with the herbs the mints are good, the Mediterranean herbs dont do well in shade like rosemary and lavender not to preach just advice from someone who had gardened for over 60 years enjoy your lovely little space you should send your video into gardeners world they are asking g for home videos and I think your tiny space would be an inspiration to others best wishes to you both happy chilling
Thank you for this! It looks fab. I remember your transformation last year. You have inspired me to spend a couple of hours tidying my balcony up this morning! Much love to you both xx
Oh it looks so pretty! Now I must go buy some plants for my patio! Of course it was 75° today and 5 days ago it snowed 3 inches.....Oh Missouri weather.
Balcony looks great. Amazing what you can do with a few accessories and a bit of a tidy up. Love the ivy trellis, new planter from your neighbour and the furniture revamp. All looks beautiful with the new plants. Sure you'll enjoy some happy Summer evenings out there x
Hi Luke glad to see they have let you shop again! What would make this area really nice is a tiny fountain. They sell so many out there and the sound of trickling water is so nice and some come with lights! Looks great I love the plants.i think those red flowers are carnations or dianthus! 😍
I love how you make your rented space feel like a home. I built well my dad built and I helped , a standing deck at the end of the summer. I am so looking forward to making it a lovely space to sit and soak in the season.
Great refresh. That trellis was brilliant and very realistic and I just love the freebie planter. New gardeners often make the mistake of putting plants in pots that are too small but your problem is that you do not have enough soil in the metal pot with the herbs. I saw the soil was a good few inches down. Those plants will need more soil for their roots to spread and thrive. It is not too late to take them out, fill the tin a bit more and replant them. Happy gardening!! ps enjoy a nice vino or two out there when it warms up!!!
LOOKS AMAZING LUKE . ENJOY YOUR TIME OUT THERE WHEN WE GET A BIT OF WARM WEATHER. CANT WAIT TILL YOUR IN A HOUSE WITH GARDEN ITS GOING TO BE SO EXCITING WATCHING YOU AND ZARA PUT YOUR STYLE TO IT . FAB VIDEO AGAIN 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Wow! What a difference. Love the artificial ivy that extends and the hanging planter your neighbor gave you. I have the opposite problem. We have really hot weather here and even though I tried many times to grow herbs on our screened in back porch, the heat fries them to a crisp. The new chair cushions are really nice also. Y'all have done an awesome job turning a small space into a very pretty area to relax in. Hope y'all have a great weekend. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida.🌴😎💙😎🌴
Good morning Luke and Zara I loved this video and think the balcony looks great now. When it's warmer it will be a perfect space to sit with a book. I love the expanding ivy by the railings, good idea. The mint will need constant trimming to keep it under control but perfect to add to a pan of boiling new potatoes. Gives them a lovely taste. Xx
Lovely!💖 The rosemary will do better if it is moved, as now it has even less light with the new (great) expanding trellis. You could put it up on the table, against the wall, still enough room to use the table. Now you just need some warmth to sit out in. 😎
