Are you doing this out of your home garage? Just found your channel via that timing chain c10 video that was a nasty chain. You've been grinding hard on these videos i see, and I like that new shop you built. Is that shop a personal shop or a business shop? 👍👍

This video was before I had the shop so yes it was just in my garage. Everything you see on this channel is either my car or a close friends. I do it just as a hobby, the shop has been a dream of mine since I was like 16. Now I have too much stuff in it lol

@@RacerXGarage Hello. I am returning the sprayed lid. There is a rubber seal. Should I put silicone? Originally there was silicone between the seal and the lid. It wasn't between the gasket and the engine. I'm from Europe and there are no such cars here, that's why I have to ask like this. Thank you.

@@martin971 It's been two months since your comment so I assumed you made something work, but I would suggest you search online and find the specific cork gasket needed for your covers, and use that. Make sure that the mating surface is clean. When attaching the valve cover, make sure that there is a tight seal between the cover and the gasket, and after a few drives in the vehicle, make sure to go back and re-tighten the bolts, as the gasket will have 'broken-in' after a few drives.
