Picking a break in the weather after weeks of storms we headed out towards the Nab area and searched out a mark further east.
I had a guest onboard Molly-Moo in the shape of Wayne Comben who very kindly came out on this trip. Wayne has fished the Solent area from his own boat "Thresher" for many, many years and has lots of experience to share. I was keen to soak up as many tips as I could and benefit from his significant local knowledge.
The day was busy with very little respite as rods rattled and fish were caught but I will admit to feeling poorly early in the morning and a little sea-sick.
With my sea legs found and it developing into a glorious winters day, I hooked into some decent fish.
