Today, we are going to go to London together alone to speak on a panel on behalf of my small business Katnipp, for Social media adweek
🌸 It's been a rough start to the week as my husband and business partner was hospitalised, but after much encouragement, and lots of coffee we head off to a speaking panel even on behalf of Shopify
🇬🇧 We also need to run and do some work on the road for our small business so we cafe hop and work across london before we attend the event!
🌿 Lets navigate the tubes together and I have a little heart to heart about how stuff like this does make me a little nervous and scared, but bravery is feeling the fear and doing it anyway amirite?!

Hello Catherine. I never comment. But, I have watched (almost) all your videos from the very beginning. You have come a long way since then, and its been a real pleasure to watch you achieve and grow. You have come so far! You are amazing, the first illustrator I took an interest in, and my all-time favourite too. I try to miss nothing here. Thanks for all the pleasure you bring to life for so many people. Oh HAI! :D I know the pain of DMs - try cushioned boot socks. It may sound counterintuitive, but a snug fit prevents that awful rubbing at your heel. Opt for a wool blend if you can - no cotton and certainly no thin synthetics. I hope they work out for you! Thanks for chronicling your business life. I live for these videos! :D

I am so flipping proud of you!! I’m glad you did this as well and I felt so much of this. I too am from a very small town and it wasn’t until recently I’ve been getting out of my comfort zone. It’s not as scary or bad as we were taught, and luckily you don’t need to live in a city to make it. There’s more opportunities with galleries and such, but they’re so cut throat and gate keepy, it’s way better to do your own thing. Plus, the cost of living is outrageous, no way I’d want to be dealing with that in a city. The internet can have its flaws, but it provides opportunities for people like us who wouldn’t otherwise have them! I also really like these more casual talks. I of course love you packaging things, but like I said as someone from a small town who just started her own channel, it’s inspiring to hear where you came from. Maybe that can be your first children’s book? The story of katnipp and like your journey with weight loss and owning your own business and stuff.

What a lovely journey to London! I really liked all of the beautiful shops and flower seller stands that are there! I really wish such places were more accessible and just... in existence here in the states. At least where I am, I feel there's very little of these sort of shops and it's such a bummer! :( But what a great adventure you went on! And to get out of your comfort zone and really get into the nitty-gritty! No imposter syndrome for you! You did wonderfully! And once again another super inspiring video. Proud of u hunni ❤ and as for footwear causing blisters I have a little hack I do sounds weird but has worked wonders for me so I cut a panty liner in half and peel the back off and stick them to the back of my heel so its extra cushion for my heel also u can use a full one as a new insole 😂

I have the same feeling when I head into the big city. I always feel so out of place since I'm so used to living in small towns. Don't think I'd enjoy living in they city either because of how packed and gross they can be, but it's definitely a good way to break out of your shell and try out new things!

god help me ive had a bad day.. i dont want to deal with other people any more... i hate customer service... i was shopping and had a customer yell at me for something someone else did. i had an allergic reaction at work. it was busy day because we had crab on sale and i was left alone to handle customers for 30 min after i was suppose to have been clocked out for the day.... i have my spaghetti, im bundled up.... and ready for this vlog. bring it. edit: i am an oggggggggggg...

So relate to the DM's having to "break them in" I had a pair of non leather ones (which I know are meant to be worse/harder to "break in") and I swear they got worse the more I wore them 😆 I now have multiple pairs of crocs 😆

I absolutely could not cope with a 7 hour coach trip!!! How did you manage? Off to London on Saturday to meet a friend, and even though I have to go into London every 6 months or so for work I still get anxious! Even though this trip is just for fun I still feel nervous, so huge kudos to you for doing that, and finding the courage to speak at a professional event. 🎉

I got myself a pair of soft doc martens and never had issues with them, no blisters, comfy to wear from day one! lifechanger xD i think they're called virginia. but a friend told me, her friend went to a shoemaker with their hard dm boots and had them beaten soft and never had issues to wear them after that. maybe that would help with yours! :D

DMs are the type of shoe that literally require Blood, Sweat and Tears to finally break them in 😅 for a good break in, you need to wear them year round. Hang in there. They are so cute!

Ugh, the DM struggle is so anoying. I have got them padded at the heel and the lash and finally they don't hurt annymore.

Do you mind me asking what extensions you use and where i could get them? i ordered some for my thin hair after bariatric surgery and they are wayyy to thick and heavy but yours look pretty nice!

These actually are a clip in from foxy locks they are a volumiser that I cut in half and then use them for plaits etc! I also use a halo extension for when my hairs down! I got that from Amazon hehehe 🥹🤍
