My son is grown but when he was growing up we did two activities in the summer, baseball and a camp of some kind. That was it. I didn't want him constantly running from place to place. He loved having time to be with friends and play in his room and explore the neighborhood and because of that he has a ton of great memories from those years

I love watching your garden projects. So calming. We sold our vacation house last year, sold our apartment and moved to another apartment with a nice sized balcony. Our house had quite some acreage with a pool and was a lot of work. I also had a veggie patch. But it got all too much. We’re now in a town with lots of cultural activities and we’re loving it. This month there is a festival called Molière month, after the French theatre playwright from the 17th century. Plays, commedia dell’arte, and music at every street corner for a month! And it’s free! Sometimes I miss the yard, pottering around and planting flowers, smelling the roses and just…be. Instead I watch your lovely flowers. Thanks for sharing, Amy. Hugs from France.
