This home is very thoughtfully designed and tastefully appointed. The entry storage is abundant. If this is meant to be a four-season home, the double front doors need serious weather stripping, LOL. The home feels spacious with a rustic/modern style that feels warm and inviting. A home to be comfortable in.

I love this design. I think the master bath needs to be bigger and the kitchen needs a pantry. The only negative is the bedrooms being off the front walkway. I feel like that could make for drafty bedrooms.

This works. You remembered closet space for coats and laundry area. The front wouldn't work in my area. We need screen doors. Where is the heater and water heater?

Double doors are popular in these plans, but I'd have a single. Great entry, and lots of multi-use storage! The fireplace is personal preference, but not mine. The kitchen has good counter space if you include the island, and there seems to be room for a tall pantry cabinet, which I think is needed. Including the convenient porch, there are options for dining. Overall, this is a thoughtful plan that ticks most of my boxes!

I love the idea that after the front door, you come into the kitchen. I hate carrying groceries through the living room. Why does the front door have no handles or locks?

I absolutely love this layout! My wishes would be more closet storage in bedrooms, and a larger laundry space for side by side W/D because I don't care for front-load washing machines. Cool features in laundry would be a folding table that is attached to the wall and folds down across the W/D to use otherwise wasted space and also some vertical cabinet space for laundry liquids etc and other house cleaning items (vacuum cleaner, Swiffers, mops etc) and extra storage for paper goods. I LOVE the kitchen/dining space, the cabinetry style/colors, countertops, and all the seating/dining space. And that family room can seat a whole lotta folks! I truly do like this home!

Absolutely lovely. Great layout for a smaller space. Really feels spacious and comfortable. Elegant, clean lines, muted palette. Love the furniture and area carpets. Back patio is very nice too. I really like this design. Thank you.

Entering through the hallway and coming through the kitchen makes it look like you’re walking in the back door. My family would open every door just to see whats in there

This is how every house and apartment is designed in Sweden and northern Europe. You can't find a home that doesn't have a hallway with hanging space for your outerwear and shoes, hats and gloves. Even in the summer we take off our shoes indoors.

The interior doors don't match the rest of the house. They should have clean simple, straight lines. And, not a fan of the color blocking in the kitchen. Other than those two things...I'd move in immediately! Very nice overall design. Well done!

My only changes would be the color of the bathroom fixtures, and make the one bath only have one sink, with the rest of that area be counter space with drawers and cabinets below. Other than that, when can I move in??!! 😀

I was just going to say that I loved everything about this plan except for the grays, which are cold, not cozy, and dated. But we all have different tastes, don't we. I do like the playful punch of the colors of the kitchen cabinets. The floor plan can't really be beat; possibly the best one ever. I do wonder where the HVAC stuff is.

Why not take the entry cabinets up to ceilings! Lost space! Decor wise it offers little to have the gap at the ceilings.

I noticed the same thing, but, with built-ins in the bedrooms, you can easily incorporate drawers in that. Also, you could reallocate space by changing the laundry room to a laundry closet for stackables and pick up some space by making the larger bathroom a bit smaller. By doing that, you could easily get a decent pantry.

An overhead cabinet to the right of the kitchen sink plus a vertical cabinet for pantry between counter & back door would be good. 👍🏼
