Nice looking sand. I bet a cat would go nuts seeing all that nice soft easy digging sand. Good job doing what you had to do the make it happen. Thanks for the video.
Nice job Chris,we usually do stuff like that, where access is the hard part and theres usually 10 yards or less at a pipe outlet. The only problem is, you made it look easy!
Its fun to 'lay back' and do routine work occasionally. Relaxed video, I'm so comfortable! Duckgirl's bucket would have worked nicely for the road reclamation, but not any better than you did! ....13
Whoever thought that pond layout up wasn't the smartest of people. If it werent't for the fact that it'd probably cause extra erosion, I'd be tempted to leave that haul road in.
I agree Sandy, huge waste of time and money to restore the bank after constructing an access road to the culvert discharge. You know they will be needed to get to it again at some point.
Nice job Chris. It's not your future 220 and 250 Volvo's but that mini was the right piece of equipment for the job. Sure miss Tim on your vids but ooh well.
Chris, almost good editing @ 3:22 you had the bucket with teeth on the next scene you had the smooth bucket on. what a mess they had you & the team doing . you all did a good job of making it right
With the sand being so clean, it makes you wonder where it came from exactly.. and what's that area look like. Was it a pipe outlet, or just running down the embankment? If its runoff, then the erosion farther up will probably be another job later on down the road.
just sand off the shopping center parking lot, looks just like river sand. where 40 yards came from off of pavement? I have no idea but it gave me something to do for that day LOL
Allways wonderd say you where going to clean the whole pold how do you get to the midlle of a pond like this to wet to drive out and you can't reach it do you just leave it be or is the a trick?
Chris I have been a viewer for a number of years you have taught me a lot on operating and I am thankful.Do you and logger wade drink the same champion juice or what keep it real
Speaking of being worth " every penny" ! Out of all the work, you and the talented team accomplish, do you ever have a client that kind of, refuses to pay up and what is your recourse?
Wow. Ide leave that access road in place and fabric it and rip rap it. For erosion and never have to do that nonsense again. All our drain ponds in the northeast have to be designed with drivable road all way around rim
Here in Oregon, private ponds are a threat to the authority of the state government, as they represent anarchy and actively foment rebellion wherever they are found, being filled with stolen state property (i.e. water that touched the ground), So I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to leave the new access road?
You boys are so lucky down there compared to our noreast rock pits. 50 yds of dirt to 250 yds of boulders. Lmao. What a difference. No wonder farmers moved down there after the civil war era. They said why we beating our brains out up here when theres beautiful soil down there.
