Aaron, I am very impressed with your day on a small river. Looks like lots of fish by our standards. I have fished the Manawatu and Hawkes Bay rivers a lot and was wondering how they have recovered from the cyclone?. Was this river in that region? I would love to plan a trip next season. The Tuki and Waipawa appear to be least affected and probably tutaekuri and esk fearing the worse. Numbers are down in mohaka and Ngaruroro but should bounce back ok
