Love your conversations it brings peace To my heart. Your ways of handling what comes your way especially your laugh calms me. Hug your little worker Alex. God’s Blessings in the days ahead.
@@MoonShadowRayne Seriously….I sure wouldn’t feel safe walking around alone in a park in Boston or NYC or any other US city for that matter. They don’t seem to have a crime issue in Russia like we do here.
Thanks for another relaxing and informative walk around your town. Wishing both of you and your son a very pleasant and rewarding weekend. Hugs from your friend and subscriber in Virginia, U.S.A.
A couple bad apples no one likes what is happening . But this couple are good people. They should not be judged for things out of their control . They will have enough heartache ahead . Thank you for the tour Val .🌺
Spaceeba Valeria. I was looking for my handsome twin Grand nephews in Fryazino in that baby carriage the mother was running behind at your stadium there. Probably too small for a twin baby carriage, though. I wish I could have been there on your walk too.....From your stadium there, it's about the same distance to my niece's house as it is to your apartment across town. Not only an amazing coincidence, but it has been a pleasure to get to know you and your family over these past few years. Again spaceeba Valeria, Alex, young Alex, Sheffie, kitty and I forget your turtle's name....?? Hercules?? Take care and be safe.
Thank you for the tour Valeria. It's always so interesting to look at everyday things in other Countries. I hope part two is on the train and arriving in Moscow one day. 🇳🇿
I loved the walk with you . I feel like we are at the end of fall and the snow is not far away for you . I could now find Wildberries if I every land in your town .
I love walking with you too. When the weather is bad here, I will watch when I’m on my treadmill and imagine I’m right there with you getting a tour. Thank you for getting me out of the house 😂❤️
Yep. All the prices in the States are rising, too. It's all linked to energy - the cost of electricity, gas, and oil. I had my toilet repaired yesterday. The handyman told me he was having 'continuous sticker shock'. 'Sticker shock' is the shock at the higher prices on the stickers put on the shelves next to the products. The products he needed for my toilet had doubled quite suddenly.
I always love your walking tours of Fryazino. I have a very dear friend who lives there, but she lives south of the Prospekt Mira, and mostly shows me what that part of Fryazino looks like.
As much as I love watching these scenes of changing Russian life I can’t help but think I’m looking at an updated version of Anton Chekhov’s tragic-comedy ‘The Cherry Orchard’. In front of me is being played out the changing of an order and the subtle straining of Madame Lyubov Andreievna Ranevskaya and Boris Borisovicn Simeonov-Pishchik to adapt to a new life order. I find myself waiting for the distant sound of a cherry tree being cut. The more things change the more they stay the same.
The need of a constantly expanding market for its products chases the bourgeoisie over the entire surface of the globe. It must nestle everywhere, settle everywhere, establish connections everywhere. Constant revolutionising of production, uninterrupted disturbance of all social conditions, everlasting uncertainty and disruption distinguish the bourgeois epoch from all earlier ones. All fixed, fast-frozen relations, with their train of ancient and venerable prejudices and opinions are swept away, all new-formed ones become antiquated before they can ossify. All that is solid melts into air.
One of my fondest dreams has been to visit and explore Russia. I truly hope that someday when things are better I will get that opportunity. And I would very much like to meet you and Alex in person. I love Russian culture and history, as well as the most beautiful scenery in the World in my opinion.
Привет из 🤗🤗 I enjoy your walks through the small town. Мне интересно, твиттер запрещен в Москве? 😔😔 I use to tweet a girl in Moscow who taught me a little Russian 😊😊
We have private schools in Canada too. One in my town costs the equivalent of an average person's annual salary for one year tuition. The education is similar to what I had for free from the Sisters of St. Anne in Quebec many years ago. For obvious reasons, the great majority of people send their children to provincial public schools which are free.
I love your walks. The sidewalks are large and usually well maintained. I love the tree lined areas and benches. Very nice and good for your health. In St Louis the public sidewalks rarely have benches except maybe bus stops and sometimes the sidewalks are not good for walking because they are not level, ive tripped often. People mostly drive or take buses not many walk very far . Take care guys. Prayers.
Thanks for showing Russia for the everyday person Valeria. I really appreciate it. Both my grandparents from my mom's side of the family were from Russia. It is very nice to see the country from which they came from and the traditions.
Be safe and well. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 for you both and your son, hope he’s okay. Sounds like your Utube site may be shut down or so I’ve seen , maybe just threats but I will go to the other app if that happens. 🥰🙋🏼♀️ I used to go to a track circle like the one you showed but it had a cork surface to give some bounce back to help with impact on joints. I used to speed walk around 20-25 miles a week and felt great, it was easy to keep my weight in check but……my knees gave out on me, there is no cartilage left in them so no walking , biking, or running for me anymore. The best thing for me now is to use floatation belt and walk underwater but no hard impact.
Hey Valeria~ I hope you are doing as well as you sound! Thank you for such a lovely walk! 👏🏻 Wishing you all, including your son, the very best… and better times…. Take good care! From the Northeast in the US.
Please be careful Valeria, I have followed you for a long time and I worry about you all. Things are changing in Russia. Things are becoming more difficult. I know people who have managed to leave to Georgia and other countries. You don't mention things but you must see a change. Be careful stock up provisions as much as you can. Stay safe
It seems sad that the pricing of the children's park is such that it is empty. Private (independent) secondary schools here in England are roughly £15000 a year for day attendance and 3x that for boarding. Getting your child on the list is another challenge. And then there are the extra costs such as uniforms, trips and charges for things like a supper eg "toast money":)
Why don’t you speak about the fact the you are living in peace and none of your schools, playground, etc have been bombed? None of the Russian children are living in fear or unable to attend school due to bombing.
Sorry, but I must UN-subscribe. Before February 24th, I really enjoyed your videos. I visited Russia 3 times 1990 & 1991. Lived for 2 months in Moscow, Kolomenskoye. Enjoyed walks and the metro. We travelled to a dacha near Borovsk. We dug potatoes, cooked shashlik in the garden and swam in the Protva River. Just like your videos, fun and carefree. Now a horrible thing has happened in your neighbor country and a dark cloud is growing over Russia’s future. I see not even one mention of this in your channel. This is not reality. So many comments from your followers are sweet and fluffy, from viewers who also watch anything with kittens and cupcakes. They would rather hide from the world. I will not.
You are so arrogant!! She does not have control over all you accuse. Thank goodness we have her to help us remember how we are all the same. Goodbye to you and your accusations.
Larry that is all the more reason to be Alex and Valeria friend. Its dangerous to speak of some things and not everyone can be an activist. Sorry you chose this path but in these changing times we all make choices. It may be difficult for people of other countries to understand the history and present ideas of freedom. We cannot understand the world by putting our heads in the sand but by being compassionate patient and learning of other cultures. It is all the more important to build friendships.
@Sally Lambert: What part of living in Moscow and enjoying the dacha indicates that I have a problem making Russian friendships? " . . putting our heads in the sand . ." ?? Really? 3 trips to Russia, some time in Kiev, speaking Russian. My wife, from Moscow, and I maintaining a circle of Russian friends in New York City, Indiana and Michigan. I see a confusing pattern of You-Tube viewers who have suddenly become soft "friends" of Russia - all without traveling there or speaking the language. Mystifying. Val and Alex are decent middle-class folks, just the kind needed to somehow, in some small way, make a difference. They DO have representatives in the Duma. I have other virtual Y-Tube "friends" who have left everything behind to live in Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and other places at great sacrifice. I send them solid good wishes and $$, not soft, pink "Awesome" or "So Inspiring" fluff.
@@expatexpat6531 Thanks for that. On so many RU-vid channels, the comments are over-the-top sweet and sticky. Why? Content creators really don't need THAT level of gooey praise and New Age platitudes. For RU channels, you may be right about the bot farms. There is a calculation in the Y-T algorithm that promotes a channel upward based on # of subs PLUS # of comments. Maybe the fan base thinks they're helping with kitten-and-cupcake replies?
Resolution was only 360p then down to 144p maybe some bandwidth problem if live stream type recording on the playing field, I don't know really.. As a one off it's ok though
