Small Timber Burn pt 2: Post Burn 

In this episode, I show the post burn of the cedar trees we cut back in 2021. I show the real estate that is gained for potential early successional plant communities and oak regeneration. The key is fire and sunlight. Fire to remove residue, thatch, kill cool season species, and invasive species. Sunlight simply to get more sunlight on the barren ground to encourage those plant communities.
