This is just about perfect. I especially love the way you eliminated the unreachable corners in the kitchen. You could put the hot water heater in that space with a door opening to the outside.

What door to the outside? The only doors I could see were the front and back doors. I was trying to see as I was curious to where else changes could be made. I like the looks of this with just one or two changes. Two changes I would ask for are around the laundry room and main bath. But if that area to the side of the dining area isn't a pantry, it should be.

In the area that I live in you often see hot water heaters (usually gas heaters) in a type of closet with the access door opening to the outside of the house. I live in Mississippi where we don't get much freezing weather so this works well down here. You see the blank corner in the kitchen? That's what I was referring to.@@susanyoung5447

A very nice house! I like the decor, the flow and all the windows. Just as an option, the laundry room and the bath off the hallway could be reversed, to allow a window in the bath. This would also allow the laundry room to open onto the kitchen, if desired. But it is also fine the way it is.

Another one of your houses that I would almost want to move into. The separate kitchen has a great layout, the living room is spacious, and the front door at least has a small area of its own and doesn't fall with the door into the house. Is the room behind the closed door directly opposite the entrance a utility/heating room or storage space?

A lot to like, but never a bedroom directly off the kitchen....particularly with only a pocket door. Reduce sie of Laundry room and make entry to principal bedroom through that utility closet space.

Impressed that there are actually two full bathrooms in this size home but would have preferred for the shower to have been in the primary bathroom instead of a tub/shower. People with small kids need a tub in the secondary bathroom. Since I don’t have children, I would prefer both bathrooms to have showers only for aging in place.

Bathtub vs shower is a simpler change for a builder to make.

@@teresal5553 But it would be nice to actually see this in one of his plans. Might make it enticing for others to see it also since his purpose is to “sell” the plan. A lot of people need visualization.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I grew up around construction, so I was only thinking of the change as a builder change, not an architectural one. I would also put a door from the guest bedroom into that linen closet in the hallway and close the hall door. I would also close off the closet area in the laundry room and expand the main bathroom into that area. And, of course, switch the tub and shower. I prefer a shower only in the master bath. If that outside opening room was meant as a gardening shed, I would build a separate shed instead and open the corner of the kitchen. I live in Colorado, so a garage is much preferred to not having one.

I love the outside look of this home. I would add another 10 ft. making it wider giving more of an entrance way and widening the dining room. Also, I would put patio doors in the dining room and build a nice deck out back.

Fantastic!!!! You sold me in the beginning when I 'walked' into that beautiful living room! What a spectacular space, with a cozy feel. And great transition to the kitchen-dining zone! Very well done layout of the space functionality. I liked the bedroom in the front, more than the back bedroom, which abuts the kitchen wall. I wonder how quiet that room would be with a busy kitchen right next to it??? Overall though, when can I move in???

There is a coat closet just inside the front entry, and the kitchen has some deep pantry cabinets. I would use a conventional door between the kitchen and the bedroom for better privacy. I see a linen closet in the hallway to the second bedroom and space for more storage in the laundry room. Closet/wardrobe space in the bedrooms is ample. A well-planned house!

Love this home with one exception. Could the cooktop and kitchen sink be swapped and a cut out space into the living room for a kitchen bar be done without hurting the overall building structure integrity? If so and we want to buy the plans (US Codes), can this be done?

Nice progect👍 But, to my opinion, it would be better to make a laundry near the kitchen, instead of bedroom. And near it could be one bathroom. Instead of second bathroom I would rather project a big closet. So, it would be no need in wardrobes in each bedroom - more space 😊

En el primer dormitorio se ve una puerta cerrada supongo que será un vestidor porque no tiene armario, no entiendo por qué enseñan las casas y dejan las puertas cerradas sin ver lo que hay detrás
