That’s a great little Bible for on the go but the 7 point font is a little small for my 56 year old eyes. 😄. I do find however that the 8.5 font in the Schuyler PSQ to be very readable still and I’m thankful for that. Thank you for the review.
Don't have this particular Bible (first ESV for me was a Large Print Compact in Trutone, next was a Thinline in the buffalo leather, and now my current "go-anywhere" Bible is a Pitt Minion), but this DOES look to be a very nice one for the pocket! From the looks of it, it's smaller than even the Pitt Minion (granted, not much in the Extras department). For just the text (if your eyes can handle the small font), the cover, and at the price it's offered at, that particular Bible may be just the ticket!
My friend has a Pitt. Seems like similar if not the same text size, but without references of course. That said, the flow of reading is a bit easier without references.
Interested in getting a premiem bible , checked on Amazon for this particular one and they only add the 2020 edition. Could you let me know where I can purchase the 2023 edition.
All compact bibles must be printed in bold. semi bold at the least. Cambridge for example no longer uses either with any of their Pitt Minion bibles. In bold or semi bold print 6 point is sufficient to read without any difficulty. Also, red-letter bibles generally in small compact editions is never very good. When compact bibles like most editions of the ESV that are not verse by verse are even harder to read if the print is not in bold letter. The bible featured here looks pretty good.
I bought me a Goatskin Bible large print and that thing is massive. Yet i wanted something i could carry anywhere and be of decent quality. So i found this one. Buffalo Leather. Large Print. Compact. Im tired of the low quality bibles covers out there. This is perfect. I kept both. We will buy $1000 phone every year but cheap out on a bible and we wonder why the world has forgoten God.
