VR? What's VR about it. You showed me only games without VR that you play on the glasses so that you have a big screen TV in front of you but there is nothing VR about it.
i guess it is talking about the vr menu and cinema like feeling, having sensors detect your head turning around, more than a big screen in front but not really like such game playing vr stuff.
Looks like the paid reviewers are getting the only sets. Kickstarter delivery date is a month past due and they haven't given any information that they will even be making them.
Hi Dom, just wondering if EM3 provided you with some "insider" updates on this kickstarter project? EM3 has been very quiet on the campaign page lately and all we (the backers) were told about 3 weeks ago was that EM3 found some technical defects and was working on them, with no details on what the issues were or when they can resolve it.
We need to hear how they compare with Nreal and Rokid I don't care if they are AR or Vr. I just want a nice clear wearable display to play games on my steam deck.
I own last year Rokid air media glasses perfect for gaming. I’m going say save yourself a shit ton of money and hassle and just go for the Rokid MAX this year model. You will be a happy gamer
Rokid max and Ether are very different. Rokid max can see through whearas Ether can't. Max uses birdbath projection and Ether is micro led direct to eyes.
@@David-gs9vw as you can see from the ether glass, it's not see-through. However if you can get on the early bird price it would be cheaper than the Max. I've ordered both and Max is arriving this week.
Looks like this company failed to supply their glasses to their kickstarter customers. Took the money and has not responded to customers or provided updates since July 2023
@@_bob_8170 an absolute requirement to be considered VR is head tracking. This doesn't have it. Plus it only works with NON-VR games according to it's own promo video lol. NOT VR.
Just ordered mine for $300. I don’t normally jump on stuff like this, but they seem pretty compatible with everything I use and not limited to one team. Can’t wait to check these out.
The only smallest VR headset I am aware of is Bigscreen Beyond. This product appears to only give you a large screen there's no mention of 6 DOF tracking which would classify it as a VR headset.
No: - headphone jacks (only speakers) - volume control (when connected thru pc/hdmi devices. it must be done with said devices) - brightness control (^same)
Most likely. That is a common problem for all of these tiny displays. Also, if your nose is not perfectly aligned in between your eyes (eg., you have a slightly deviated septum) you won’t see much in one of your eyes. It’s very annoying, so you either get your nose fixed first or you are screwed.
