If Clark had thought it through he would have realized that if Lois really didn’t love him she could have left the sensor on her finger and just answered no.
@@esofia08 She was saying hes a terrible liar. So they would probably be dead. But then Clark is thinking about it and realizing that he's not exactly sure if thats true or not.
My god... the tension between these two in the elevator-scene or actually in almost every scene on Smallville! They really complement each other so well. Hard to believe they aren't a real couple in real life.
These two are terribly in denial. Each time they got close to admitting their romantic feelings for one another, one or both would chicken out. They gave each other the run around. I'm just glad they finally figured it out and got married.
Jameelia Moonrise Tom Welling is in hot water with the fans. He liked my comment about his baby mama looking like his ex lover Erica Durance. OMG. I posted it. Check it out. He is confirming that Erica is his ex lover. BOOYAH
It was during this season that their friendship developed into love. They had both ended serious relationships and their breakups really shook them up. Despite their bond and the attraction they felt for each other, they both needed time to heal before letting someone else in.
Sofia Ladybug Yep, they did get married. Eight years after their wedding, they were living on the Kent Farm with their two girls. I guess they pulled out of the sale before all the paperwork went through. ❤️
Well, he kinda started it by saying she was lying and she just went along with it. She might have admitted it if he hadn't said that in the first place so, he kinda ruined it for himself on that one.
@@telisanelson9284 but if he was covering up for her but they truly both know she didn’t slip the sensor off, why would he look disappointed when she said she did? It’s like he believed the exact lie he made up
@@lisarm100 I don't think I said they both knew she slipped the sensor off(which WE know she didn't) and he was just covering for her. What I was saying was, I think he was downplaying everything (like her feelings/what she said) which caused her to lie in the first place. Hence why I blamed him for the outcome. Which I get why she didn't admit it. I wouldn't want to put myself out there either, or I would be too embarrassed to admit it to be true too, if the guy didn't give me any feedback from it, or joked about it. That also adds to the end result of him not only seemingly believing her, but is a case of them both being too stubborn to admit the truth deep down on how they might actually feel.
Clark sees that she is suffering from not knowing what to say about the love confession she made and he helps her by saying that she is very good at lying, to relax things. But it is clear that he liked knowing that Lois loved him, although later with what Lois tells him, he questions it. Because he knows her and he knows that lois doesn't like to show her feelings. And that's why she avoids him, because she feels exposed because she confessed that she loved him.
This is the episode where we saw some evident tension between the two. I saw it a little bit in the season finale of season 7 after Lois witnessed Clark getting emotional after he watched the video of Lana declaring that she's leaving. That embrace of Lois and Clark at the end of season 7 finale was almost like a passing of the torch, but we didn't see it gain some traction in a major way until this episode.
I'd say Instinct was when it started, at least with Lois. The way she reacted when she saw Clark & Maxima in the elevator was as if they were a couple and he was cheating on her. She clearly had a thing for him by that episode or she would've never reacted like that. The embrace at the end of season 7 was part 2 of the passing of the torch since it took both of them to close the book on their exes. For Lois, it came in Siren when we saw part 1 of the passing of the torch when Clark similarly embraced her after she was heartbroken over Oliver. Then came the embrace in Arctic as you pointed out which was Lois reciprocating it as Clark closed the book on Lana (well temporarily until they brought her back in season 8 for those few episodes).
@@luckyjasonfan because he forgot about being chivalrous after she started acting all tough and cocky about it lol. At that point he wanted her to admit she had feelings for him, coz I think that that fake confession made him realise that he felt something for her. That's why she made that jab at the end about "who knows where we'd be if u had answered that question." And it made him pause, coz (and I could be totally wrong here) she was either implying that she knew he may have a thing for her and he's a bad liar so she wouldve gotten shocked and it wouldve come out. Orrrrr.... because of their love/hate relationship, she was implying that he would admit to the guy that he didnt like her which wouldve gotten them in even bigger trouble coz the psycho was testing couples' relationships. But in that moment Clark paused because he realised that he wasnt sure how he'd answer that question the more he thought about it and dwelled on it, implying that he was realizing he may have feelings for her. But this is just how my crazy brain interpreted it. I really miss this show. This was one of my favorite episodes. This and when he finally told her he was the blur.
@@notoyaarthur1990 LOL. I *like* the Way you Think! However, her Confession wasn't "fake" 🤔 We know for sure she Didn't slip the Sensor off and was telling the God's honest truth! 😌 If Clark REALLY thought about it for more than 1/2 a second! he'd know too!! Because, IF she was going to LIE..? There would be No reason to say that she DID Love him. Nor would she be in Tears over a Lie!! 🙄 oh, Clarkie!! 😫😒😂
@@luckyjasonfan lol by "fake" I meant that she referred to it as fake. But it was very much real. However, u r right. Clark really was clueless, coz had he thought about it her crying wouldnt make sense. Then again had he pressed she couldve just as easily claimed it was an act to make it more realistic. And she had to still lie despite "fake slipping the sensor off". Her rationale would've been that to admit that no she didn't love him, might've ticked off the guy because remember he's testing couple's love and chloe and Jimmy passed because they did love each other. Which means the guy really hate couples that clearly don't and lie about it, due to his own relationship. Lois could've rationalized that had she said no she didnt love Clark at all, the guy might've hurt both of them, coz ultimately he was looking for a confession of love from them, especially after clark got shocked when lois answered the cheating question. Even though she technically didnt cheat as they werent a real couple. But yeah lol I'm trying to rationalize it how she would, had she been cornered and pressured by clark to admit her feelings. Lol but clark wasnt even ready to admit his own feelings much less pressure her to admit hers. Btw sorry for the 2month reply lol, I absolutely did not get a notification for this until now 🤣
@@luckyjasonfan I know right!!! That’s what I don’t get about it. Either the script in that scene was written confusing or Clark was being stupid in that moment and not thinking things through. That’s why I didn’t get why he looked disappointed.
if she slipped the sensor off her finger, why did she say she loved clark? instead of saying i dont love you. she didnt have to say it because the sensor was already off her finger
She never slipped the sensor off her finger, she was telling the truth. She just saw an opening for an easy way to get off the hook and she took it. That’s why Clark looks so sad at the end
lisarm100 I think he was giving her an opening by implying she was lying but I feel he totally bought the lie. He wasn’t going to believe her if she insisted she beat the machine but he didn’t think of the possibility of her slipping the sensor off her finger. He bought that lie and he was disappointed she didn’t really love him after all
I loved that scene, I mean I loved the whole episode but this scene was so funny... Who knows where would be if you had answered that question Clark's frown as he contemplates the possible answers to the question. Amazing what he might have answered truthfully and Loiss clear assumption that it would have been a lie.??
You're kidding right when you said there was never a dull moment with Lana & Clark because when it came to the episodes with her after the mid-season break last season,I couldn't wait for them to end
@@tahminahabeeb175 It would be a complete shocker because not only are The Flash Writers continuing to suck up to WestAllen fans although they wanted the show cancelled and wanted them along with Eric Wallace fired, but Smallville writers played with the fans' emotions for 4-5 seasons on when they planned on getting Lois & Clark together. They were already planned to end up together, but the writers just kept finding ways to stretch out Clana until they were ready to make Clois happen.Even when they thought it was time, they thought of loopholes to bring Lana back until it was finally time for her to go for good
@@TeamForwood The Flash is no where near the level of Smallville. It sucks cause it could’ve been, but even when Smallville had its dull moments it quickly bounced back. But nope! Not Flash. West Allen is worse than Clana. I like Clana better
ooops,.. im talkin about clark and lois coz most of their scenes before were so cute... and likes each other especially when theyre afraid to admit it. . ^_^ get it?
god i know, and even when the bloody show starts again on Jan 15th (next week) we've still got FIVE WEEKS/episodes before lois reappears! AHHHHH the wait is genuinely driving me insane.
i really like Clark and Lana together, but since they werent meant to be together i used to love lois and clark.. they were both funny never a dull moment.
Can't tell if he felt disappointed or had a light bulb moment at the end. But it would be strange if he felt disappointed after being heavily in love with Lana before Season 8. Just me though lol.
Yep she's avoiding you...big time. Leave her be, Lois may think she loves you - but you Clark are not good for her. Lois' destiny is with someone else - NOT YOU or The Blur/Blob!
You must be getting Hank-on-Crank Cavill (the not even 6' BLOB with MAN-BOOBS) mixed up with the REAL SUPERMAN of this generation, although I don't know how.
For someone who claims to put "God first," you would think that you would actually follow His word rather than being a "talebearer" who spreads vicious gossip about others: Leviticus 19:16 - "Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor; I am the Lord." Proverbs 11:13 - "A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter." Exodus 23:1 - "Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness." Perhaps you should actually put God first, as you claim to, and find a new hobby that doesn't involve spreading gossip about people and attacking them on the internet?
@@KMCB12 sweetie I only spread the truth. You do know rosenbaum outed them months ago, and then tom slipped up and outed him and Erica. There are also videos of them cheating on their spouses back then at the 2010 Comic con of Tom asking Erica wanna leave this place lets get out of here and Erica waiting very patiently for her lover by the stairs and She says lets go to my room tom and tom called her babe. So no I am not lying. Believe what you want like I give a shit what you say. Lol. You are wasting my time and I will keep showing proof cuz that is what a journalist would do since I did take high school journalism and I was my school editor back then. Its funny how I discover this show last year and I solved the mystey just like That lol. They were having an affair since early on while they were on smallville and Michael rosenbaum knew about them and believe me he knows alot lol. So you can say I am lying but Erica didn't deny it at all when she was asked on her Twitter and when I asked her five months ago she didnt deny it and instead she went off Twitter for a month and came back with a cryptic tweet that said SILENCE. Then my friend tweeted her October 27 and told her that there have been many rumors about you and Tom affair and Rosenbaum outed you and tom welling so if this is true you should tell us why it ended cuz we wanna know And Erica minutes later responded with a retweet that said I HAVE LOST CONTROL OF THE SITUATION !! BOOM! Now once again she doesnt deny it at all and posts that tweet hmmm. She is saying now that Michael outed them she can't do nothing about it. So no I am not lying. I don't appreciate being called a liar. Like I said I am very loyal and I tell the truth. You the one that is evil calling me a liar. God is mad at YOU. Not me
