The show has its ups and downs but one thing I can say is that they did a great job with the casting of LEX, CLARK, LOIS LANE and Clark's parents. They also did great job with the filming locations, set designs and special effects.

Before Smallville I was all for Clark and Lois for any other Superman story. Smallville was the only show that made me ship Clana so hard, their journey is unmatchable.

Well because Lana absorbed A TON of kryptonite and then Clark literally could not go near her, so she had to leave. And that was it she was gone never to be seen again
