Thanks man! Glad that you enjoy it so much. A lot of my videos used to have a ton of views. A few even had a million plus. However, years ago YT used to be really strict with copyright infringement and a ton of my accounts were shut down. So now on this account, a lot of the videos don't have that many views.

I was one of the original Smallville vidders and fans on the Ksite boards since 01. Saw every episode when originally aired on the WB and then CW. So I fully get loving and supporting the show. But I do feel like Smallville was a victim of horrible writing and bad continuity as time went on. Plus 10 seasons was WAY too long. I mean the show was originally intended to be about Clark's life before Superman. So Lois, the Daily Planet, and all the other Superman villains shouldn't have been on the show. I think four years of high school and a few years of college ending with him finally meeting Lois and starting a DP internship would have been good enough. Also I HATED how they handled flight.

The first 3 season are the best, even cause they are easy, and haven't too much ambitions, after that the show start to get bad, for many reason, S4 is too dumb cause of the "lanacentrism" all the witch things, S5 have again a "lanacentrism" with Lex looking like a teen around lana, from S6 to S10 we have just many others problems, superlana, darkseid, as you say, they kept it for too long, and also make lana too much important.

@@ryandeffley7652 btw, today show are bad written too, even if less "teen" material, and so more realistic. Also smallville have insane potential, if it was well written, it would had been awesome, with same cast, and the same "heart", way better than all the show of today, they all lack the heart, like almost everything today .

Smallvilles Clark never wore the shout on camera that is in the last episode of the show just cgi of him in the distance where it reseambles him same with Gotham but they had a reason show was getting canceled before the actor was the age to play Batman

It's interesting because back when I released the first version, after Smallville first started airing, no one even really knew the song. So I like to think I played a part in introducing the song to the masses back then. Smallville was such a popular show, especially in S1-S3. That's why the combo of the show and song really took off. It's just a shame that YT was so strict such copyright infringement for so many years. I had so many accounts closed down over the years that I lost a lot of views on my videos. LOL

The entire series (all 10 seasons) is on Hulu.

Initially I was kind of skeptical. In S1 he was 24 trying to pass as 14. 🤣 Plus he had a modeling background with limited acting experience. But Welling really did grow into the role over the series.👍

Very late to the party lol But I loved it, didn't even know of him till then tbh , thought the progression of clark was excellent, and yeah he really grew into that role like you said. couldn't stand lana lang as the show went on tho . Since then I've done Arrow, working my way through the flash now . But superman will always be the fave

@@TanCoyer - Well better late than never. 😉 I'm one of the original OG fans. Saw every episode live on TV from when it premiered on the WB in 2001. Was also a founding member on Kryptonsite and one of the original vidders for the show. I had to keep putting out new versions of Journey because I'd update it every few years. Never imagined the show would go 10 seasons. 🤣 Even now I want to make another version of this but I had to walk away from it.

@@TanCoyer - Glad you've enjoyed my vids that you've seen. I used to have WAY more but YT kept closing my accounts down over the years due to copyright. Then the drives I kept stuff on crashed. Superman and Lois is like junk food. It may look good on the surface and even satisfy you short term from time to time. But it's kind of boring and doesn't have a lot of substance IMO. Also I've never seen a Superman be physically bested or need help as much as this one. 🤣 Plus you can tell the show pushes a strong feminist narrative. There was one scene where Clark as Superman actually asks Lois how to handle a situation. Superman should never need his wife's permission to be the Man of Steel. Lois and Clark was a great show because Lois was strong and independent. But she was super feminine and vulnerable with Clark/Superman. She never saw them as "equals" because he's Superman.

@@xSnappa - BTVS is actually one of my all time favorite shows. I've made a ton of videos for it. Many were lost on old hard drives that crashed. But I have a few uploaded on my YT account here. A few for Spike/Buffy, a few for Buffy/Angel, and a solo one on Buffy herself.

That was done in the Crisis Arrowverse event. He gave up being Superman to be a farmer and raise kids with Lois. 😆

+shan sf I actually think the show went downhill starting in S5. They brought Clana back when they should've stayed friends, they created the Clark/Lex/Lana soap opera, they killed off JK, etc.. Then S6 was non stop angst and soap opera, and S7 was boring with Clark/Lana playing house and Kara. S8-S10 improved slightly, but I still think the show went on for way too many seasons. Changes I'd make earlier - Clark stays in glasses after Whisper. Clark/Lana date all of season three and she learns the truth then leaving for Paris because of it. Then S4 - Chloe stays dead, Lois comes in to catch her killer and ultimately joins the Torch to honor Chloe with her/Clark working on stories together. Lana comes back being Clark's new 'Pete" and they stay friends. Lex kills Lionel in struggle for the stones and Lexcorp is born. Clark gets a flight episode tied into his 18th bday. Then S5 is the final season. Clark/Lois at Met U taking J101 with Perry White. He gets them internships because he owes Clark one. He begins to slowly "Blur". Lucas comes back to help Lex run L33.1. Clark/Lex drift more and more. JK stays alive.Then the series finale goes between present and future foreshadowing. Lex learns the truth and Jor-El sends Clark back in time to prevent the bridge accident. They never meet/become friends in the first place. Only Clark is left with the memory of it. Finale ends with Clark/Johnathan reflecting in the loft five years later to tie into the Pilot. Then a few years later we get a "Metropolis" TV movie in the Superman universe.

@@ryandeffley7652 nice, but i wouldn't cancel the fact that clark and lex are friends, plus it's not possible the way you say. Clark would be back in time like in S5 in the episode that lana die? Then he would revive the whole 5 years, and this is gonna change too much things, or being too weird however. If he go back in time and doesn't "take the place" of himself, he will just create 2 different timelines, in the new one clark, doesn't know about lex, if he is just able to go back, prevent the accident, and return in the future, without a new timeline, this will however create a paradox, so no, no way.

S8-S10 were different, but I Think different was good. The show became more mature. S9 might be might favorite

I've actually only seen S1 of that show. It was pretty decent but never went back to it!

I turn 36 this Dec and still remember seeing the Pilot on the WB like it was yesterday. I feel like people who got into the show later on DVD didn't have the same experience as watching it on TV when it initially aired. Also, I initially hated S4. But ironically, it's actually grown on me a lot w/DVD. I think the show went downhill in S5-S7. Then rebounded slightly with S8-S10. But nothing could match the potential the first three seasons offered IMO.

That's interesting, I'll definitely take a look back at season 4 then, I personally think season 8 was the absolute worst the show had to offer, maybe because at least seasons 5 to 7 had Lex. I watched it A LOT when the show aired and I recently went back to it.

The last 3 seasons suffered from a near-to-no-budget. With what they had, they managed to do unexpectedly good. From a production standpoint that is. The scripts have been terrible right from the beginning.
