I mean seriously, the CW Infinite Earth matter showed that Clark gave up his powers and returned to Smallville. Not to mention that Clark didn't choose Lois, he chose Lana first, and he was quit literally forced into his "destiny" relationship. As so many have stated, if you are going to have Blue Kryptonite exist on the show, and each character knew about this from the Bizzaro incident even, and the ring during the Lara/Zor El incident, then they could have been together even after Requiem.
