This was the couple we didn't know we needed. I was a major chlollie fan back in the day. I can still re watch Smallville without thinking about the NXIVM crap. But I do remember wondering why Allison was losing so much weight back when this was airing. It's so sad where and how she ended up. Allison was genuinely a good actress and she threw it all away
I love this scene for many reasons. It was important I think for the writers to get us, the views, to believe in this new relationship as something more than just eachother's rebound. With them both confessing their past loves it allowed me to see how much Chloe especially has moved on. But sometimes, even if scars heal they can still hurt, and I love how AM showed that in her eyes as she was talking about Clark. She is such an amazing actress!
I just love that scene sooooooo much. How beautiful they really are together, and no, its not about the physical, its because they Really GET each other, Chloe says that she wants someone who gets her, and this one its right in front her face... Their relationship is real, private, honest, and their connection is unique. I really hope they be endgame on the show. Would be a fail destroy that. Even with the complications, I hope they stay together in the end.
No matter what. I'm glad TPTB saw that Oliver is THE right one for Chloe, as much she IS the right one for him. I just love how they get each other, and for me, it was mean to be. Def of my favorite scenes ever. They are so honest with each other. Def let clear that let the ghost of the past pass, because, even without realize or afraid to admit, they were talking to the love of their lives, them, Chloe and Oliver.
I saw it today, but I had to look at the internet to find it to see again... SO PERFECT... so kind... so true... "Funny thing about scars... they're always there. Beautiful. I loved watching thejr scenes and I akways wished the writers put them in more scenes together. I loved watching them
I don't like arrow and the reason why i don't watch it is because that is the REAL love story not the one about FELICITY (?) and Green arrow. It can sounds stupid maybe lol but would have preferred them to abide by the original story as it is born in the comics :D

Had Chloe and Clark hitched up in season 1 or two, it would've lasted a lifetime. Chloe was always smart, smart, smart and she would've been excellent for Clark his entire life. There would never have been a "Lana, Lois, or anyone else" In the entire series, Chloe made only one blunder with Clark when she tried to find his real parents. Anyway, good for Chloe and Oliver. They are both intelligent, ambitious, capable and interesting. She would be a great asset to Oliver and his businesses. Lois was a "trophy wife" for Oliver. And Lois' smart ass comments would've always been a disaster to Oliver in his business. Lois can't help herself. Her remarks would've ended their relationship, which is probably why Oliver broke up with her. She was definitely a detriment to him and his business. So in the end, everyone lives happily ever after except for Lana who had to give up the love of her life.

@SilQueenS2 I agree. Having grown up with Clark, and around Lex, Chloe was not awed by heroes and wealth. In some ways, this is a workplace romance because Chloe and Oliver got to know each other because their work often overlapped. Their relationship turned a corner during the ROULETTE and WARRIOR episodes. Chloe saved Oliver from himself in the former, and he showed her how to cut loose in a way no one, including Clark, Jimmy, or Davis, had ever shown her in the latter.
For me Chloe’s first love will always be Clark. I was disappointed the writers moved away from that relationship in season 9-10. Clark fell in love with Lois because well that’s what all the fans who loved the comic books knew it was always going to be Lois and Clark. Not Clark and Chloe. IMO Chloe never looked at Oliver the way she looked at Clark. I’m not talking about when they were in high school. I’m talking about seasons 4-8. She was loyal to him. Yes she made mistakes but she never stopped loving him. The closest we got to see them as a couple was the Lexmas episode I believe. 🙏🙏 for me Smallville ended in Season 8. 🙏 When Chloe said here in this scene that she loved Clark all those years but he never saw her. Really broke my heart ❤️ Even if you’re not a Clark and Chloe shipper. And also when she said in a Smallville far far away I’m still not convinced she’s totally over Clark. I still see the pain in her eyes 👀 just because she says it doesn’t mean it’s true. Oliver could see it and said “that was Clark’s loss.” There’s always fanfic. Which I will be writing lol 😂
I love the part where he says the next time you want to take a shower with somebody you can just ask me it's cute and I would've planned a romantic night in for the two of them to make it up to him
Who ever they pair up chloe, or clark with, it will never compare to Chlark. And chloe is right, she did wait for him to see her, but all of us could see he did. Its a shame that the writers didnt see, what many of us would have loved to.
@Saraaa91 Its Season 9, episode 16 - Escape xD I recommend you look for S6 till 10, their storylines trought the seasons even when they werent together was always paralleling or matching somehow. I love them too *.*
@LittleMissClumbzie i know right! my sister was watching it in the living room and i hadnt seen season 7, 8, or the episodes before this and she was on this scene and i was like "DANG!!...they are so cute!" and now im terribly sad that the series is over. i think they should make a chlollie series ..it would be amazing!!
@daeuri but I still think Chlollie is the best thing.Ollie's relationship with Chloe in SV is def something unique to Oliver's character, true love, fidelity even without her by his side, a unique connection and behavior, that no matter what, Oliver wont have in his life anymore, even if he find love again, without her, part of him always will be empty, and maybe thats the reason SV is putting to show his behavior as a jerk in this department in his future.JMO. I hope producers honor their love.
@SilQueenS2 The Smallville writers have shown a tendency to take liberties with story lines while leaving the big picture intact. Clark and Lana were given a romantic significance they never had in the comic books, but Clark and Lois were and are sacrosanct. Oliver may be Chloe's first best shot at love, but Chloe won't be his last. Maybe she saw Oliver's future with Black Canary when she put on Dr. Fate's helmet.
@JTProductionsChannel al and miles haven't been with the show since season seven....i think its darren swimmer and some other person, im not sure...and you can never be sure if this is the last season of smallville....there was a long speculation that season 8 was the last one yet along came season 9 then a guarantee, based on a slight ratings boost, that there would be a season ten....according to tom welling, if there's enough fan support, there might just be a season 11...
this is a superman show so its ok for oliver to be with someone else, and the black canary was a villain, but in the arrow? killing the black canary was wrong. arrow season 3 to 4 (olicity) is an immitation of this!

I love this couple. I really do. However, this couple was the reason why Arrow went down the path it did. Felicity Smoak is literally Chloe Sullivan and Penelope Garcia wrapped up in one package And tbh, recopying that formula the way the Arrow showrunners did was NEVER a good idea

@GD29 and yeah ill be a bit peeved if they attempt to kill chloe for like the seventh time on the show....its always been "oh shit! she might be dead!" in a season finale then come the following season, "no shit! she's alive!"
@JTProductionsChannel i disagree...it definitely has potential to rise to the familiar superman setting that we all have come to love for over seventy years: clark kent/superman, the daily planet, lois lane, jimmy olsen, perry white, lex luthor....if past superman tv and movie adaptations can pull it off, why not smallville? but i think it would be interesting to see if the writers add in the challenge of clois having sex with clark having to control his enormous strength and all....
@JTProductionsChannel that could be a good point but are the vast majority of smallville viewers REALLY going gaga over the chloe character? don't get me wrong, i enjoy her intelligence and wit but we've slowly seen her role on the show decline over the past year, and to be honest, it hasn't really affected the quality of the show that much....clark will still be closer to being superman, he'll still have that dynamic with lois, etc. i always saw chloe as the lois before the actual one appeared
season 10 episode 15 "Fortune" Zatanna magically spike the champagne at the bachelor/bachelorette party for Lois and Clark. It was revealed they got married at the end of the episode, it was a beautiful moment.
I dont like oliver with chloe. It sloppy seconds to me he been with lois. I still think chloe still loves clark. Clark falls for wrong women don't see chloe right for him.
