This video shows the full Smallville panel at Awesome-Con 2018. The moderator asks Tom and Michael questions about their movies, various TV shows and roles. It was a great panel with these two actors playing off of each other, telling tales from the sets of Smallville, Tom's experiences on Lucifer and in Cheaper by the Dozen, and Michael's podcast, voice roles and movie roles.
The big news is their willingness and discussion of a possible Smallville Animated Series. While there is no official word other than these actors stating their excitement at the prospect, it's possible this may convince producers to seriously consider such a show.

Rosenbaum is the best Lex in any medium. He did something with that character that even the comics couldn't do. He tricked you into caring about him. His Lex made you want to give him a second chance. It's that charisma that is a key element to Lex's character in the comics but Rosenbaum is the only person to ever reveal that so well.

from the first episode i didn't trust the guy. in my opinion you can't want to genuinely befriend someone and investigate them at the same time. i saw all of his favors to clark and his loved ones as a way to secretly dig deeper into clark. a part that i question is when he found lana in china, didn't seek retribution and actually said he didn't want to hurt people anymore. he seemed like a half way decent person. not a snake in a suit. the writers seemed to be trying to make him uncharacteristically sympathetic. it seemed the writers needed him to let her go and make off with his money so she could have power and revenge and continue to be interesting on the show.

Destroyer of Destruction So he did an adequate job as a supporting character on a crap show, as opposed to the top star of an excellent show that lasted 10 seasons and changed the TV superhero genre. Hmmmm...

Well they are different characters or should i say they play Superman in different stages of Supermans life. Tom Welling plays Clark Kent before he is Superman as i see it Clark Kent does not become Superman until the last episode when he fly`s. Tyler Hoechlin plays Clark Kent when he has already been Superman for years. At least that is how i understands it.

Kal-El Clark Kent that whole thing you two did behind the curtains was freaking hilarious! I was kind of angered that when they started making the Superman movies they did not pick you and Rosenbaum up to reprise your roles on the big screen. I think both of you would have done perfect. I hate to say it but Superman Returns was under trash and the only good thing about that movie was Kevin Spacey...

I always found it strange why people are more "ashamed" of the roles that made them famous, and wouldn't want to be recognized for that after they're done. Personally, if I landed a role as iconic as that, I'd run it into the ground.

Tom Welling played Clark Kent in Smallville for 10 years shooting 18 hrs a day. He had to drive at 4 30 am for 1.5 hrs and only slept like 5 hrs. The cast wrote and signed a letter and sent it to WB so he can get a driver. And when he wasn't shooting the episodes he was doing press. It took a lot from him and that's why he took a break after. He said he doesn't like interviews which is understandable. But he seems very humble and grateful for the part.

Tom Welling, the well to do brother. He's married and has a daughter. Michael R. The brother who doesn't have it together, he's goofy and Tom is serious. Michael ends up having to live with them, two different lifestyles having to deal with each other. Ect.

They are accusing her of being involve in a cult that deals with female sex slaves. Kristin Kreuk is also accuse of being a member but Kreuk reportedly left the group not long after while Mack stayed on. I don't really see much evidence of it though aside from the cult leader's testimony. At least that what I got when I first read the article.

But I was surprised when he said Lana. Kinda made me smile. Maybe he's more of a Lana and Clark fan than a Lois and Clark fan. I mean let's face it the character Clark was always better with Lana than with Lois. No offense to Lois, but that whole relationship was way too forced and they got together and were "in love" way too quick.

This is GOLD. And it could've gone a whole other direction if the moderator wasn't so gracious and lovely. She just lets them flow with their storytelling while still slipping few of her questions in every now and then. One of the most easy going panels I've ever watched. It's probably Tom's first and I'm glad it was great.

She’s such a natural, you can tell. The segues were seamless and for the most part, she just put down her paper (that presumably had all the questions), and just LISTENED. Simple yet rare these days! Also Michael is so good with his impressions!

Tom Welling was such a hottie when he was in Smallville. I actually have all ten seasons of Smallville on Cd,s. The show had so many great characters. The actors all had great chemistry with each other. I am glad it is on Hulu now. It is good to see it back in the light of day again.

It's so cool that SO MANY people have went and REWATCHED Smallville over the years (my Mom and I rewatched the entire series recently -- well before the Arrowverse cameo). Testament to an excellent series.

Michael Rosembaum is better Lex Luthor than Eisemberg, Spacey, Hackman and Shea. Lionel Luthor character (as seen in Smvll) must be introduced officially to the Superman Universe. Doesn't matter when you read this.

Hell nah Eisenberg luthor was a genius maniac. Rosenbaum's is dope for a tv series but eisenberg Luthor was fearless. Stood in front of superman made him fall to his knees. Had batman playing HIS GAME. Df you talking about?!?!...smh all you people sound stupid. Its one thing if you dont like eisenberg but he played a DOPE ASS LUTHOR. Also all you people are biased because lex from smallville is in no way shape or form like lex from comics or animated series. Smfh.

Oh my gosh that was FANTASTIC!!!! I own every episode of Smallville and have watched the series multiple times!!! Superman is my all-time favorite superhero since watching Christopher Reeves as a child!! I would also LOVE an animated series!!! That would be fantastic!!! You guys are so great!!!!!

the best show ever..."smallville" man rosenbaum is a killer actor and easily was the best thing on that show. the way he delivered his lines and the lines themselves were so good.
