Chloe / Allison was my first and long time Smallville crush. The woman was hot. Makes you wonder if she was wearing a matching set if you know what I mean.
Man and I used to have such a crush on her. It would've actually been less shocking if she was exposed as a satanist or hell even as nazi supporter than the sh*t she did
Supposedly she was trying to get help for a mental illness, and unfortunately the first person she found was a piece of shite cult leader who brainwashed her into believing the crap he was spewing. Doesn’t change what she did, but she was also a victim in this tragedy.
Other than the fact that this whole scene was magnificent, Allison Mack should have won an award for saying Daniel Kim is dead is dead, cause that was just so powerful.
@@BluesFanUK_ Well, technically being a great actor probably helped her lure people into a sex cult too 😅 It's basically a fundamental skill set for all con artists.
Once she got free of NXIVM and started eating properly again, her figure came back. As for her career, that will largely be a combination of how much she wants to continue it, and which people are going to trust her. Forgiveness and trust are two very different things, and neither are usually granted easily.
I think this scene shows Allison Macks acting ability. People say it should hurt more but Clark's heat vision narrowed into that fine a beam with an extreme temperature would be like cutting with a laser. it wouldn't hurt more than that knife she was going to use. also the reason she was telling clark to get over his hesistation to x-ray her was probably because her general knowledge of his x-ray vision may not be detailed on how it worked. maybe she thought he slowly peeled back the layers
I remember the first time Chloe found out he had x-ray vision. She was like, "you can see through solid objects?", while trying to cover up, and I was like, "yeah, that's not gonna help, sweetheart" xD .
glad to see you are such an expert on a make believe laser vision, lol, you must have been cut with laser beams many times to asert how much they hurt or not hurt... for pete's sake!
it's scenes like this that make me just imagine how akward acting can sometimes be. i'd literally go through a whole bottle of deodarent trying to film scenes like these
I know right you'd think being on a superhero show based on one of DC greatest hero's would have shown her what she was doing was wrong sex trafficking really wow. Three years in prison isn't enough for that.
And yet the fact that the road she took seemed preferable is an indication of how disposable people often are in the acting world. If she had good opportunities beyond this then maybe she would have chosen them instead. Take a look at all the actors in Smallville - how many who were in multiple seasons of the show had any significant career after that who didn't have one to begin with before Smallville? Erica Durance, Kristin Kreuk, Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum - do any of them have significant presence these days? There's your answer
I was lucky enough to see this when it first aired. I was just changing channels one night and came in right about when this clip starts. Even if you've missed the rest of the episode, it's still tense as hell! I love it!
She was great but the entire cast carried the show by all doing their part so authentically well. The actress, however, deserves life imprisonment for the sadistically barbaric acts she committed.
@@allgoodgamerdude1986 I believe it's because the actress who played Chloe joined a cult where the initials of the founder of said cult were burned into their skin.
@@phoebechan192 She branded her initials into multiple victims inner thighs, the founder did as well. That's how she was caught and charged, the evidence was branded on the legs of the victims.
He did a wonderful job with this episode. It was the most freakiest episode I have ever seen from the Smallville series. Especially when Chloe was abducted, and they were putting the device into her body. That was scary. *shudders*
When I saw this, I thought Clark was gonna accidentally shoot his heat vision when he x-rayed Chloe because I thought Clark's initial fear was being turned on by seeing her "naked" LOL
No Clark was raised to be the good man he is. That’s why every time a girl hits on him and he knows it’s wrong on for whatever reason he does the respectable thing and rejects them. He literally couldn’t see every single girl around him naked if he wanted to be he chooses not to.
Intense heat cooks and sears flesh, animal or human. On the stove, we call it steaks, here, it's cauterization, where the intense heat burns the ends of the blood vessels shut, creating a burn scar but sealing the wound and preventing blood loss.
Don’t forget that as one of the Justice Lords Superman Lobotomies an enemy with his heat vision. So it’s very powerful and can be focused to a since precious thin beam but took extreme practice. Clark is basically a god unless you count crisis on infinite earths where he gave up his powers and still knocked out Lex with a single punch.
I've watched the show three times already and this part where chloe grabs the knife and Clark's reaction gets me laughing and i can't help it every damn time!!!!😂😂😂😂
The tension in this scene is brilliant. Clark does something similar with Bruce in Hush but they treat it like it's nbd. Neat to see how the same situation can be treated entirely differently with this direction.
@Arod10451 true, and the producers are awsome too, to think that the character "chloe" doesn't exist in the original superman but fits right in in smallville
Actually, with the temperature as intense as it would be from the heat vision, once the nerves are severed she wouldn't really have any feeling in the affected area. So yeah it may hurt more at initial impact, but towards the end maybe not so much.
