Smallville Season 6 Episode 1 Reaction "ZOD" 

Just to clear it up for you all: Shawn Ashmore (Bobby/Iceman from the X-Men movies) played Eric Summers in season 1 episode 'Leech' and season 3 episode 'Asylum' where he got Clark's powers. Shawn's IDENTICAL twin brother Aaron played Jimmy Olsen in the series.

Funny story Michael Rosenbaum thought that he would be paid double for playing two characters lex and zod

Fun fact the voice actor for Jor-El played Zod in the Christopher Reeve Superman movies and at the end when Clark got Zod out of lex the ghostly thing coming out of lex was the actor that played Zod back then too... (Or at least a lookalike)

This season is up and down (in my opinion) but more up than anything. This season is when more of the DC and Superman anthology/world really starts to build in the show, episode 11 in particular. Also, don’t worry. This season has great Clark and Lois moments!

The voice of Jor-El is played by Terrance Stamp... it's his face that you see come out of Lex when Clark uses the El's Crystal, and, he played Zod in the Superman movie.

Lana is such a survivor.... And I just realized... she is probably able to empathize with Lex here because she too knows what it's like to be "possessed" by a murderous being with powers... season 4 and all that. Dang it, Lana.... I know she can empathize with literally anyone, but it's LEX and he will use that empathy to manipulate EVERY TIME.

Jimmy Olsen is played by Aaron Ashmore, the guy who stole Clark’s power in the previous season was Eric Ashmore. They’re obviously twins. LOL! But yes that’s why he looked familiar to you. Jimmy aka James Olsen is such a good character too! His curiosity gets him in trouble sometimes, but he really means well tbh! Also, FINALLY a love life for Chloe after being the being hurting third wheel to Clana. But even with a budding relationship with Jimmy, it still doesn’t change her friendship with Clark. She will do everything to protect and look after him, best friends goals you know? Also, the clois hand holding hospital scene. A very concerned and sweet Clark and a very confused Lois. I think she was expecting some snarky comment from Clark, but instead he said, “Well, I’m glad you’re back!” while holding her hand. The tension between them hahaha! It’s just another step of them getting closer and being more concerned for each other as this season 6 goes on. ❤️

THE HAND HOLDING the noise you made- I felt that in my soul hahah

Listening to you react to episodes of TV shows, is like listening to someone going through labor every minute, every hour, every day for 5 days straight. Seriously...you don't have to grunt and cuss with the delivery of EVERY single line of dialogue in the TV show. It is okay to let an entire scene play out, and then give your reaction or thoughts on that scene you just watched. Like for instance, if 2 characters met, and one merely said "Hello", you don't have to go into a fit of grunting and screaming. You can wait until the characters dialogue/conversation in that scene plays out and THEN say your reaction piece.

Probably late, but the Jor-El Clark talks to is an AI, not the real thing who probably wouldn't have gone as far as the AI to do whatever necessary for Clark.

This is a good episode to bring up that the voice of Jor El is the Original Zod from Superman ll played by Terrance Stamp.

Concept of the phantom zone makes no sense, Jor El essentially made a place that makes all evil beasts in the universe immortal. Nice job.

Finally made it to my favorite season...where they introduced ma boy Ollie lol since you already know

I'm sure it's been cleared up for you by this poin, but Jimmy looks just like Erick due to the fact that their twin brothers. A fact that I always thought to be a weird thing to do.

I like episodes when Lana is actually aware of the villain. It shows that future superwoman or in this show Valkyrie behavior. Like in Crisis when Adam shows his true colors and almost kills the Kent's and Chloe. Or Arrival when the aliens were about to kill the people at the hospital. Clark really shone in this episode too. Btw where are the FBI/CIA when all of these meteor freaks and alien invasions are happening? Do the people of Small bills really have to defend themselves!?

Hi sorry i Couldn't watch it early but i got grounded for saying a bad word on accident.

You are too funny lol ii'm binging this now online for free and i'm so hooked. Wish I was a teen when this was on tv. Im 25 now and just discovered this show. Always heard about it but never was able to see it. What's weird about this episode is the writers making Zod say he is not Lex but wanting to rape Lana so she can give brith to his heir. Like dude using my common sense why couldn't he at least lie in the beginning and pretend to be Lex and impregnate her 😭😅 not that I wpuld want him to but it would've made more sense for him to at least fake it.
