Beautiful impressions of the finalized Global Silver Award 2015 winning project "Post-War Collective: Community library and social recuperation" in Ambepussa, Sri Lanka.
Architect Milinda Pathiraja of Robust Architecture Workshop comments on the aims of the project: it was our goal to create a flexible and adaptable prototype of a building system which can be used by unskilled workers across the country.

Well, I think it is awesome. Materials selected from the environment with minimum damage to the environment. Well organised workmanship. The stones seem to be perfectly arranged. God bless Sri Lanka. Admire your resilience and courage. May you grow into a peaceful, tranquil community once again.

Beautiful and practical building!👏🏼 and the fact that the army itself constructed it turns thing way more valuable, they decided take part activaly in a social issue, did a great community work!🙌🏼❗ Here in my country the army only serves the rich ones and are very skilled in corruption and milk benefits from the Goverment😩

Very nicely built considering that soldiers with out previous experience built it . They have put their heart into it and made a stunningly beautiful library. Great architecture .

All Latinoamerican country will thank this refreshing architecture as well as Austrália, África, south Pacific islands, ano country within the tropics. That is a big part of the "rest of the world" sir Darren Chang. I am from Brazil, 100 percent hot.

Can I get architectural design service for design a retirement village. I am doing some researches to find a way to design/build fully equipped retirement village to cater 100 to 150 elders and it has to be further expandable. since budget is low, I need very good architecture who can design this with high quality low budget in stylish way like paradise (Note-this is my personal social project- no commercial purpose)
