Driving through Luton in an Automatic Smart Car ForTwo.
Here's a little video of me driving through Luton in a Smart car. It is basically a car reviewI'd just picked it up from having a new clutch fitted as it's a semi automatic. We had a problem with the gearbox and it turnt out that it needed a new clutch. It's apparently quite a common problem. Anyway, this is not my usual 'serious car review' It was my first experience ever in a Smart car so i took my camera along with me when i collected the car and decided to have a bit of a laugh in it on my journey back to work I hope you enjoy it. Thank you that made me laugh...what a funny review...now I think I know why there are so many police in Luton....maybe watching out for the smart fortwo reviewers test driving whilst throwing their arms & legs all over the place instead of watching the road....looking forward to test driving one myself....not forgetting the arm & leg test as well!🤣

In the words of the designee it is big enough for 2 people and a case of beer. Oh and my flat mate is 5'6" so I am sure she will fit.

So… I've heard you can drive it in automatic? Is that true cause I would definitely get one cause I love them but idk if they're automatic

@@robertlund5694 No, not all. They're all semiautomatic, but the lesser ones don't automatically shift for you, you have to hit the + or - to make it shift. The automatic option does what's shown in this video, i.e. you _can_ shift if you want to, but you'd probably put it in auto. Just think of it as having a tiny robot inside manually shifting for you. The tiny robot is a bit slow, but cute. It'll make you nod, if you don't pay attention to when it's shifting.

Funny, but not too smart to take your eyes off the road for five seconds while poking your feet in the air. But then you are in Luton, so that fits I guess. By the way, one of these demolished my garage door driven by a Chinese driver, anyone film it?

The smart car is a pointless car if you ask me, it's slow, expensive, not particularly good-looking, small and can only carry one passenger (unless you get the five door version). The only good thing is that it's easy to park but if that is you only concern when buying a car then you probably shouldn't be driving in the first place. I wouldn't say no to testing one though as it would be good to see if the smart car does have any redeeming features. Probably not but one can hope...

TheMrSnyder And you have no protection on a motorcycle. And you can't ride in the wintertime. The "car enthusiasts" often mock cars like smart and prius etc. But asides of them,a car is just another appliance for most. I don't spend hours waxing, adding mods etc. Just get me to work.

in englan the road tax for a smart car is 30 pound any other car is 450 or more and you get 50 plus miles per gallon insurance is really cheap and the parts to fix them are cheap so for a new driver or a university student then this car is probably the best to get
