Smart fortwo 2003-2007 450 rear windscreen replacement. DIY project that can be done at home cheaply 

So I love my Smart fortwo 450 but unfortunately my back windscreen got smashed.
Trying to get it replaced was a nightmare and I was quoted in excess of £1000 in one instance. Which was ridiculous. It was such a hassle that although my smart is well looked after I considered scrapping the car.
As a last ditch effort I attempted to fix it myself.
Hopefully this helps someone that may face the same situation as I did.
