THIS boat my favorite!! IN the water, OVER the water, UNDER the water, LAUNCHED & PIN WHEELED ABOVE the water!! LOVE boat week!! GREAT job Saylors, keep'em coming!! 💟👍😘
I’m subscribed,,, even after 2 years of the date of the release of this video I’m subscribed and hope you two still doing videos… the RC Hobby need people like you. The explosion to mainstream viewership is not far away.✅💯👍🏾
What an amazing fast boat! I'd say do a boat speed test week. Excellent review Abby & Nate!! 😊⚓

Awesome video not only the review of that fantastic r/c boat but a delightful video of a loving couple sharing one of many passions that they both enjoy
You guys are fantastic! Keep doing what you're doing! I'm Not into boats or planes, but both of you together and your enthusiasm for the hobby is inspirational. Thankyou.
Man that boat abuse was hard to watch , Sorry Abby but from the first pass the batteries were obviously to far back in the boat and it was confirmed after a lot more reckless driving one battery moved forward and you could see the improvement and the nose come down better toward the end , also needs trim tabs adjusted down probably. Props to Pro Boat though for making a quality product (Abby proof ) :) Keep practicing and work your way up to those full speeds. Cheers from New Zealand.
I have to say that wreck when it caught mad air looked like there was a spring actuated right under the boat. I died laughing so hard cuz it was just such a perfect wreck. Nice boat for sure though.
A speed run of the boats would be awesome! Be informative to see what the speed is compared to what is said the speed is.. if it's spot on or not. My Arrows boat hasn't needed the self righting yet(don't know if it works then) but I always have my Cajun Commander along too.
Hi guys. You'd get so much more pleasure and performance from these boats if you could set them up better. Incorrect C of G is primarily the issue here. Not 100% necessarily, but more often than not when the boat porpoises this much then the batteries probably need pulling forwards. This imbalance also upsets cornering. Love the channel though, you're so natural together on video.
Boat Week is Great Fun Rc Saylors! Abby has Nothing but Smiles on Boat Week! 👍👍😎 Will the Traxxas Boats get the Rc Saylor test? Both of Traxxas Boats look impressive! 🏆🤗
You know how we feel about that brand. Honestly, at this point in our lives morals mean more than most qualities and features. We just don’t feel that brand deserves our attention and inevitable traffic and sales. Horizon is perfectly fine with us showing their boats flip and flop all over the lake. They are cool with us showing the plane They Sent Us blowing up!!! Other brands are solid too, but currently we feel the brand you mentioned has the wrong motives and priorities behind their business and our morals just can’t support that. You may find this hard to believe, but we turn down free Traxxas stuff All The Time simply because we put our money where our mouth is and won’t “sell out”. I hope you are okay with that response. Maybe one day we will take another look at that brand when some people have changed positions within the ranks there. There are so many “sell outs” online it’s sad. Yes, they make decent stuff, honestly. Everyone knows that. But also everyone knows and sees them falling behind. They aren’t the company they once were and are making some really bad choices! Only time will tell if they will continue to drop or make the necessary changes.
I like the sonicwake because sometimes it's flips back up.. recovery... but always need a dinghy to recovery.. but the impulse is a kool boat.. but very expensive boat. I'm either getting one those cheap bang goods volantex 32 inch boats because is cheaper boat but has recovery to it that sometimes works. Or 100 dollars more for the sonicwake.. that impulse seems like very expensive but good quality set up.. I was tempted to modify my kyosho 600 boat to a brushless set up on it to see what can do.. but I might buy a different 🤔 that volantex 32 inch sr80 boat in orange.. and maybe give to a friend my kyosho 600 boat to.. well kool boat week.. I also like that 42 inch boat you guys have.
Dont take that little jet jam for a wimp... I use that little jet jam to rescue my 30lb ZELOS 48 gas boat with full of fuel all the time. Believe it or not it can actually push a 150LB man on an inflatable raft. There is a video on youtube somewhere, but I can't find it. Ill link it on my comments once i find it. On your next time out with the jet jam, have Abby out there with a kayak and test it out and push her with the little jet jam. BUT you have to push at a certain angle to get the most out of it. It might be slow at first but once it gets going it will get much faster.. It might make into a great video as well "tiny jet jam pushing Abby on the kayak" lol.
Ok you need to put the trim tabs down. The boat is running dry and bouncing side to side. You want to run a little wet with tabs a little more down. And the hull will be more in the water without bouncing
Add electric water pump off Amazon. It will cool it all while the boat isn’t moving. My pro boat on 6s has been fine for 3 years now. I also added epoxy resin on the esc around all its wires. Upgrade strut with brass bushing. Grease flex shaft every other time u take it out
I bought this last year and completely regret it. Returned it too. Power keep cutting off whenever I changed the throttle from 75 to 100%... And I was constantly left with a boat out in the middle of the water. No self righting either, but I knew that going into it. Oh well. Definitely stay with the Sonic Wake 36 self righting before this thing any day. Wouldn't want one if you gave me another for free, too much hassle. Cool boat, but too many problems that could been easily fixed by the manufacturer.
That boat just doesn’t look as fun as the Sonicwake or even the UDIRC Arrow. Maybe it could be trimmed out a bit increase high speed stability? Keep the nose out of the air?
The Drive is offset from the Hull's Centerline/Keel. I was drooling of the Sonic Wake V2, but this might be a better value, with the Telemetry Control. With my luck, it will always flip over and stay that way
Well, we do try to run a full pack on complete stock settings of everything we do besides airplanes that need trimmed up. Also, we are still learning some of these tips about high performance boats and getting them to run perfectly 👍😁😎⚓️
Iam very confused i need a new boat and i am between impulse and sonicwake i used a v hull in the ocean and i want a good flawless boat to handle well which i choose?? Help thanks
@@TheRcSaylors There's been sooo many airplanes, helicopters and other products that I have bought feom them and they discontinue them quickly and have poor customer service. The electronics suck and the way they are assembled they make it difficult for the customer to work on with no info.
Well, I can agree about certain products being discontinued. It definitely frustrates me when that happens! A lot actually.. let me ask you a question though: would you rather have 20 airplanes available to chose from to buy over the entire course of your lifetime with product support or a variety of planes to chose from in your lifetime? See, all companies do this sadly as they only have so much warehouse space. I wish the good planes, etc.. could be supported forever but it’s just not the reality of it. What I do is buy parts, or even a second vehicle of my all time favorites! This way, I have my own support for that vehicle as time goes on and things wear out. Also, you never mentioned the alternative choices you like more now. I really would like to know to give this statement more context, and maybe we feature them on our channel to see how they stack up to the competition!
@@TheRcSaylors My alternative ?? I built my own now. I just buy the fuselage for airplains, frames for drones, hulls for boats ,etc and order my electronics from Banggood and built my own. That way I know what I got and I know it's good from reveiws.
@@Sharpshooter-123 u r right… tape is mandatory to keep hot electric parts dry. These guys have 600,000 subs and sound like newbie morons. Self righting boats have a water chamber, she also just holds the trigger wide open while the boat is dancing around- god damn they act clueless. Pisses me off.
Air cavity… lol, that’s prop slip/ cavitation water literally boiling on the blade surface. You need to realize prop spins like burning rubber till hull flattens out and it’s planing… Set up : hull needs to run flat! NO HOP! All hulls run best with only a few degrees of positive trimRun cavitation plates down a few mm and strut up like 2degrees. That hull likes to run pretty flat.. water breaking under the M in impulse.. I run an abc1715 prop or really thin and balance the stock motor , Esc and prop. I get 64 mph on 4s battery with that prop. And about 7 decent size oval laps You run your hardware “trim” with too much bow lift . You guys need to learn how to feel what’s going on, and react BEFORE it gets too loose .. I’m not cranky, just passionate and serious about this hobby as should you, obviously people like you guys. Learn the vocabulary and how to make your models perform and take pride in ur driving- you sound like beginners and ur pros!
FYI, I grew up boating- over 50 years experience- owning fast boats, velocity 22, action marine18, stv euro, 24 skater , 28 magnum, 28 pantera, 29 kryptonite- boats that can kill you! and 25 years playin with rc nitro and electric rigger, cats, mono…I also have scale boats, cars, trucks , hydraulic construction equipment… so yeah I love this hobby and learning all the time. I’m sure you guys could teach me a lot as well. I do watch yer channel as well as may others… tv’s r on all the time in my hobby room.(no wife:)
Fast boat, really fast driver, super great boat flipping high flying water splashing crashing driving there Abby. ➕ bonus points for responsibly wearing your safety vest. Def- in-it-ly a very good bo-at 👍. Enjoyed Abby's Boat week. Keep getting more Air time, do not dissappear until next bo-at week. 😉. What's next🤔🤔 ❓, only the Saylor's know for sure. 😁😁😊😊.⚓⚓👍💛💜💚👍➕🦺👏👍⚓⚓.
Thanks for the heads up. All they did was copy our avatar. Different channel name. However they are impersonating us, which is against the law. We’ve reported them and blocked their channel. Sorry you got a message from them. Just nasty people trying to take advantage of others, but we zapped them, and quick! 👍😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors not a problem Nate. It was bull💩 with some butthead wiping out Riffs channel. I was turned into Riff from rc guy garage. All good people. Thank you to you Nate and wife Abby for your great vids.
very nice boat, its a little too expensive for my budget ,i love my pro boat stealth wake, upgraded to brushless on 4s,maybey ill save up for this one, great video guys, god bless
I wish when you guys first drive a boat and see right away it's trimmed wrong and needs correction you'd adjust it and then keep running it. Not doing so it's not a good review of the boat. Nothing comes perfectly trimmed out of the box and needs tweaking.
Hey guys! So, a couple things: first of all, we aren’t a review channel. Just a fun, playing with cool RCs channel 😉😁 Secondly, we tend to make our first run of basically everything an “out of the box” experience! Now we can all see how this runs out of the box together 👍 Finally, Abby is just getting in front of the camera for the first time after our miscarriage, so we really are just trying to have a little fun and ease back into things for her. Thanks for understanding ❤️👍😁⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors So you will trim out a plane, but not a boat? Seriously? You take it out of the box and run and quickly realize it needs to be trimmed, but don't? why not?
@@gregharter8212 very very good point. Just because it's a boat or a land vehicle doesn't mean you don't need to test it and set it up. Seeing every boat flying out of the water and bouncing around is getting a bit annoying.
Impulse is the strongest fastest nicest boat they make imo and its their only boat that doesn’t need extra cooling. This boat comes with dual cooling one of intake ports is a thru hull on the bottom and the other is on the rudder. Mine goes 70mph with a 42mm 1.6p prop no cavitation.
@@logansmith7962 42mm? i figured it would be larger to go that fast. I think thats the same size aluminum prop i have on my udirc arrow i've got it doing around 40 mph which is pretty fun and barely controllable. different prop ratio though. but yeah been looking at horizons boats for awhile to step away from the cheaper chinese boats.
That boat was pretty impressive but I think I like the green Catamaran a little bit better. I think they are pretty close in speed too. Let’s find out on boat speed week! ⚓️
Just some helpful FYI. You should bring in boat and check to see if the batteries have shifted or came loose everytime you flip the boat especially with these high speed flips. A battery bouncing around inside the hull may cause severe damage to the fiberglass hull and potentially cause an electrical short if a battery wires get tangled up in drive shaft which will cause an out of control fire and total loss of boat. Don't ask me how I know this.... This condition is the exact same as crashing a lipo powered airplane. If the wires short or the battery is ruptured your almost guaranteed to have a fire. Oh, and don't forget to pull the drive shaft after your done for the day.
Why is no one equipping these types of boats with FPV cameras and racing them on a course in the lake? Slap on a DJI camera and you've HD FPV racing...would love to see those rooster tails as the boat "driver".
It’s all good brother! You know, I’m happy that Abby is out having some fun after losing our baby just a couple months ago. I don’t care if she drives all the boats over a cliff! Her happiness really is all that matters right now. ❤️
❤️❤️💯 y'all keep up the good work been waiting for this few new boats i need to add currently have a Geico 36 now i plan on BJ42,Imp 32,Sonic Wave v2,Velos 29
