Thanks so much David. Yours are the best, most comprehensive videos on Visio I’ve found yet. Can you recommend any good resources for modifying the Gantt Chart stencil?
The Gantt Chart Shapes stencil is read-only, so your best option is to create a custom template based on the built-in one. Drop all of the master shapes from the stencil on to the page, then delete them. You will find their masters are in the Document Stencil. You can modify these, but ensure that you tick Match master by name on drop for each one. Then your users can create Gantt Charts from your custom template, and they will get your enhanced shapes.
