What would say if if we told you we could shave off 40 minutes time when fitting the GT Bull Bar to your MR Triton. Well we are sure you will be happy with that news. Rockarmor have developed a new 1 piece mounting cradle for their GT Bull Bar. With more & more Bull Bars being fitted at home, Rockarmor has now made life easier for those home to fit the bull bar, and leave no room for mistakes, when fitting the bar.
👉 New side wing support brackets
Being an IFS vehicle, everybody knows the chassis and bull bar will move independently. To reduce movement, Rockarmor have developed new wing supports that attach to the driver & passenger side of the bar, securing the bar from wing to the centre mounting cradle.

Hey there, appologies for the late reply, the GT bars retail for $1999 and fitting starts from $450 just depends on what other accessories are fitting, better to call your nearest stockist on 1300554923

Will you guys be selling the bar wing support piece separately? Mine has a fair bit of movement in the wings and has hit the guard.

G'day Hudson, thanks for the message. So the wing support brackets that Rockarmor have supplied us are only adaptive to this new mounting cradle. However they are designing a adaptive clamping plate to go onto the the mounting system you would have. Can i ask, have you performed the pilot hole drill on the bar by any chance? If not, this will rectify a lot of the movement.

@@Aussieoffroad4x4 oh okay. Mine was installed at the Brisbane store I’m assuming the pilot hole was done. My gap to the panel is inconsistent being about 18mm on drivers and 10-12mm on the passengers side (where it has hit). I’ve taken it back to get adjusted but it’s still the same so I’m guessing maybe the pilot hole location is the issue? Cheers

@@hudsonmakin1940 Hey Matey, if you still try and look in the bar, please check and see if you have 4 mounting bolts (3 large / one small) if thats the case you have the locator hole performed. If there is only 3 bolts, then no locator hole has been performed. If this is the case, the guys at Aussie offroad Brisbane will be able to do this for you

@@Aussieoffroad4x4 Hey mate, 4 bolts installed per side. I think it’s just too close on the left hand side of the car. What would the solution be?

@@hudsonmakin1940 Def sounds like it should be sent it for adjustment. I would def give the guys a call at the store, book in a time with them at Brissy, and they will adjust for you no sweat. There are options to possibly ask for lock tight to be used as well, however the fitting kit includes spring washers, which is meant to the be same job. Saying that make a booking with the guys for adjustment. Also another issue which we have seen in the past is the suspension on the front of the car, if you are still running factory springs, this will def be one leading cause as it can create more stress towards the front of the vehicle.
