Police in several cities around the country are investigating a string of brazen robberies apparently pulled off by organized thieves. The smash-and-grab thefts in Los Angeles, Chicago and the Bay Area are taking place at high-end retailers like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. NBC’s Erin McLaughlin reports for TODAY.

The thieves who should be prosecuted are the ones sitting at the head of big corporations like the pharmaceutical companies. Is it a surprise that the people who have been ripped off for decades are finally taking back? I'm not saying this is the way to do it, but it doesn't surprise me. All of these companies advertise, showing people what they can't afford because companies like this don't pay living wages .Pharmaceutical companies have taken a drug that was created and given for free and made it hugely profitable for themselves, leaving those who need it dying. America has been turned upside down and this is the result. I'd love to find out that these people are using the money they receive from this to feed the hungry and give insulin to people who can't afford it.

This is really simple: The States Attorneys have announced in some of those cities that they won't prosecute. In Cook County, States Attorney Kim Foxx has been absolutely horrific, by telling everyone that she won't prosecute shoplifters, and by letting all kinds of criminals loose on lesser charges.

Here in Vegas I've seen folks walk into Marshalls while I was shopping fill two garbage bags full of clothes on two different occasions and walk right out the store. I ask the employees and the security at the front door why are you allowing this to happen they didn't answer. It was unbelievable to see this happen it was outrageous.
