@@SonofTuscon99 I grew Up with Disney Mania so this was something I had since childhood, Disney did a sequel to The Jungle Book that was The Jungle Book 2 and King Louis didn't appear in the movie because of a copyright that was in place because of the widow of the original actor and singer who played in the original movie, They did feature this song in the credits though and it was so awesome to hear it for the first time.

The Jungle Book 2 brought me here. I still remember seeing this in theaters as a kid. Despite it’s cheesiness (looking back on it as an adult) it’s still one of my favorite Disney sequels. PS I notice that a lot of people are saying that this version is better than the Jonas Brothers’ version. While I can agree with that, I think they’re both good just in their own way

I learned last month that Steve Harwell has retired after his last performance with Smash Mouth. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised that I found this out in the news by accident considering that we never hear about anything from Smash Mouth anymore (let alone any of their new songs).
I'm only twelve and it kind of sucks how all we get is stuff like Ant Farm but I'm so glad I can rewatch Emperor's Groove and all of my other childhood movies on youtube and the rest of the internet :D
Smash Mouth did an awesome job, but I am unsure about how Christopher Walken would do it. My opinion: Steven Tyler should've been picked to voice Louie for the remake.
Even though I think Christopher Walken did a really good job in the remake, Steven Tyler would make so much sense. His vocal range is really close to Louie Prima’s.
+Travis Thunderpaw I saw the sequel. I was thoroughly disappointed by it. Then again, I shouldn't expect much from Disneytoon studios. The only decent movies they seem to have made are the Winnie the Pooh continuation films, and Aladdin And The King Of Thieves. Oh, and The Lion King sequels.
Matthew Moran Maybe if the 2016 live action Jungle Book is a huge hit i can write a script for an animated Jungle Book TV show for the Disney Junior channel and it'd be an educational show and take place after the events of The Jungle Book 2.

Plus, there are also better Disney Animation Studios sequels like the "Toy Story" sequels (Pixar), "Monsters University" (Pixar), "The Rescuers Down Under" (Disney), "101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure" (Disney), and even "Planes 2: Fire and Rescue" (Disney/Pixar/Disneytoon Studios)

@@gibbs615 very nice, Walt Disney said "If you can dream it, you can do it, and don't let anybody say you can't". This is my biggest dream goal of bringing the 2-D animated style from Disney once again and I'll be a movie director as well.

Really stop that crap, if you prefer the original version of a song then go see the original version, remember Smash Mouth has a few songs from Disney movies, yes Disney isn't what it used to be, but that's why I'm here, to see and listen to old musics and videos of what we grew up with. I find it funny when in videos of out childhood I see hate comments instead of comments saying "this made my childhood, I miss it so"
