I’m so happy to hear you liked Gideon :) I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. The Traitor baru cormorant sounds like a book I’d also really enjoy so I’ll have to pick that up soon
💀I just got a kindle yesterday and am already eating up the book I'm reading on there it's a nice addition on top of my physical library, but I will always prefer physical books until my last breath!! owning them, smelling them, touching them, books are the best✨
Out of all the books you've mentioned,'The Traitor Baru Cormorant' is still the highest on my priority list ❤ I'm really considering buying it as soon as possible -probably this month 😅
I need to pick up A Curious Beginning at some point. So glad you got to Baru this month and loved it! The ending of that book messed with my mind. Gideon the Ninth is a book I have considered picking up, but I'm just not sure. You are making me want to try it though! I want to read the Reappearance of Rachel Price!! Glad you had a good reading month! 💀
💀The Twisted Ones will likely be a ‘peck on the lips’ for you as well. Although there is one sassy ‘older’ female in it (not the main character) who had some great one liners you could probably tab. I remember one in particular that made me howl out loud 😂 She was like a character in a TV sit-com.
💀 OMG Holly Jackson books!!!!! I read Five Survive and The Reappearance of Rachel Price in April and LOVED both. My other 5-star reads were The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley and The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
I've been very interested in The Marlowe Murder Club, so i'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed it. April wasn't a great reading month for me, both in terms of quality and quantity. I read 6 books, 3 of which were DNFs. I knew that i wouldn't be able to read as much as usual. I was in a play and we had our shows in April, so i've been busy with that. It was amazing and i'm sad it's over now
