The final balance patch for Smash Ultimate is here. It brought a lot of changes with big nerfs and big buffs aswell.

Falcon and incineroar were by far the most buffed. Min min was the most nerfed too

Captain falcon is one of the most buffed if not the most buffed Character went from inconsistent bottom of mid tier trash to more Consistent hight tier Falcon had like 12 buffs or something Let me try real quick -knee buff -f tilt buff -down tilt buff -raptor boost buff -up smash buff -falcon dive buff -back air buff -falcon kick buff And some off those things got buffed twice and i am sure i missed something

Min Min doing less damage on shield for the range she had and toning down the dragon laser was a pretty helpful nerf.

The up B angle that Nana is launched is now straight up above Popo as opposed to being sent forward a little.

Yeah I noticed a lot of great improvements to the Ice Climbers and you have some true combos with their Up B like Up Tilt into Up B and I think Up Throw Into Up B is also a true combo I might be wrong on that one but I was landing it everytime.

@@Matanumi There have been even more improvements in this last patch. Maybe if BSD did a side by side comparison we can see if maybe I'm experiencing some placebo effect in regards to the AI being better.

@@bocaj71491 Yeah, I noticed that too. At lower percents, those do seem to land as I've not yet had anyone escape those. Do you notice Nana's AI improved? She used to get stuck on platforms but the AI seems a bit more reliable after the patch.

Omg so there are silent patches. I knew links down air landing on stage had less recovery time before you could shield but I never saw any patch notes on it so I thought it was all in my head

Tbf, most people agree inkling up tilt 8s the worst attack in the game, so it probably needed to be nerfed

@@reggilad_9043 No I'm pretty sure the worst attack is either something Marth does, a DK aerial, or any throw from Ganon. Marth and DK lose advantage on hit. Ganon is just bad. I don't think anyone has ever thought inkling was the worst at anything.

The only buff that would affect ganon's placement in the meta would be run speed or faster air acceleration. All of his moves already do over 20% each lol

@@RellekEarth That's what I've been thinking this whole time. If Ganon actually got a buff that improved the worse part about him (that being his movement speed) he'd be unstoppable. If they buffed his speed they'd have to nerf everything else which makes him closer to a Falcon clone and contradicts his original playstyle.

@@sparrow_solas he's the second-slowest fighter in the game, and his projectiles mostly don't make up for it. Samus is faster and has better zoning options, so when you combine Robin's bad ground speed with his lackluster tilts and his not-great OOS options, surely he could at least be a smidge faster. Though that does bring up that perhaps buffs to his tilt range and aerial speeds could be a godsend, given that his disadvantage is already hard, even with a full kit.

I wish they would've buffed his frame data on his Down Tilt, Foward Tilt and Plasma Breath a bit. He is one of the 10 fastest characters in the game but he has a slower, reactionary approach and iffy defense cause his frame data is awkward. Not saying he should be "balls to the wall" mashy but he plays a little too methodical at times. If they wanted him to be methodical they should have just leaned into the "he's too big"/"Ridley Hits The Big Time" mantra and gave him more range on his Physical attacks. He feels compressed and it's almost like the devs were scared to make him better

I also love playing him, but his frame data just sucks ass and there are certain matchups that make me furious.. cough Pika, Inkling.. cough

It was already one of my finishers, but sure I'll take it. And yeah, he's so easily juggled partly because his frame data is the way it is. It's the problem with "heavy" characters is they hit so hard they can't be too consistent with their hits. I wouldn't have minded a bit of range on some of the attacks though.

Same, going from one of the most buffed characters in smash4 (though hes still bad), to get nearly nothing in ultimate, in fact it got worse as everyone got better. Sure up-b is better, but that's mainly because of falcon

Sad that my boi Greninja didn't get some buffs, BUT very happy he didn't get any nerfs. Nothing happening to him and him being a somewhat mid-high tier character consistently is FAR preferrable to him getting a nerf every patch like in sm4sh.

@@babylonreef he got five buffs from patches 2.0.0. to. 11.0.0, but nothing really significant other than dark dive endlag cut. which could mean that they already saw what a faster ganon is capable of, so they just barely buff him.

I Love how He sounded so surprised when reading Inklings buffs. Also I'm happy, Ridley Dash Attack is already a good Move and more knockback and damage makes it just better. I Can't complain about the last buffs my Main got. First the change to Side B now this.

@@Howl_3DN When I first played Ridley i had serious problems with His Up B. But after learning the weaknesses of the Move and it's strengths i never had Problems recovering. Counters are a Nightmare tho because it's so linear. But thats why i mixup my recovery from time to time.

So glad my boy Ridley got buffed. He absolutely needed a buff to his worst move, dash attack, and absolutely nothing else. He is now perfect.

I can't really complain, because he did get buffed (insignificantly), but when Meta Knight's Up-tilt phantom hits on half the cast when you're literally in jostle range, Inkling's U-tilt being that way really wasn't that bad.

It makes no sense that they're no longer patching the game. After only 3 years they've almost completely ended support for one of their largest titles. It's absolutely pathetic man, especially when you compare how long Namco and Capcom support their fighting games

Here's hoping that bugfixes and small adjustments include fixing rod. The move still has a gigantic blindspot that makes absolutely no sense. That and some weird lloid interaction fixes would also be appreciated.

@@kachosuffer7 More or less, when you reel it in, there isn't a continuous hitbox on the hook, so there's a certain spot where the hook will just go through characters and not grab them.

I stumbled across you guys a few years ago on this patch update series Conflicted that the balancing patches are ending for Smash Ultimate. It's just my personal concerns that it's all coming to an end. I was worried ever since it was revealed that this version of Smash would be called Smash "Ultimate" with the tagline "everbody's here!". I've always felt like this was it :(

Ike + Wario were both actually pretty weak and could use the help. Inkling, tho. We all know it dosnt need a buff! But its not that bad that it happened. all these buffs and nerfs were tiny, small things. nothing big at all.
